Im so bad...

Sorry this is a bit of a moan about myself..

So im going through the tanks..ive always enjoyed tsnking in games..so far ive got lord cap, thor, hulk, venom, dino, hood and deadpool..as you can see im much more of a tske space aggressive tank player rather than a shield tank..but I understand the need for a shield tank occasionally

Ive always wanted to be good at strange..mostly as im a big fan of his voice actor.. i have tried him multiple times and this season with his shot speed increased he feels way better however im absolutely dreadful with him..usually on other tanks im at the higher end of the scoreboard..i understand taking space, using cover, peeling..all of it.

But on strange im pretty much constantly the worst on the team..i understand blocking ults..i block their tanks from being healed..i know the animation cancel however...

I suck with his ult. I seem to struggle to hit shots..i dont feel like im a threat at all

I really want to be good with him and enjoy him but I feel like if I dont switch to a tank im better with im just throwing

What can I do

Watching you strange mains absolutely run lobbies is such a pleasure to watch i want to be half as good

TLDR; I suck and need more advanced tips please

Newcomer to tank

Tired of everyone just insta locking dps so im learning how to tank even if most games I’ll have to do it solo. Any tips for a beginner strange? Which team up is the most viable and are both good either way? Thank you :)

Ult tip / PSA

I don’t think I’ve seen this talked about yet. If it has, not mentioned for a long time.

Souls can rebound out of range from maelstrom, potentially leaving damage or kills on the table. You should try and make sure the stun goes off before your feet hit the ground. Why?

  1. The stun going off above ground level decreases the distance the souls rebound, making it more likely you’ll get everyone stunned by your ult hit the double damage.
  2. Doing this also can put their soul within melee range, making it much easier to kill through a support ult by yourself. A normal combo looks like this:

Primary (90) + melee (30) + MoM (260) = 380dmg

You can make it 410 damage across the same time frame if their soul is within melee range. The small damage the stun itself does gets healed off before you can perform any attack, hence why I don’t have that damage added.

You can get a similar effect by just jumping before your stun goes off. The clip is just a visual for most of what I said.

has anyone else noticed the really bad clipping on the new mcu skin?

as the title says, the new skin has back clipping with the upper back of the cape when primary firing, and his little belt sash clips on the bottom. just wondering if anyone else had noticed

1k matches played on Strange

Per the title, I’ve finally played my thousandth match on Doc.

I am happy about the milestone, even if it means I’ve probably spent too much time playing this game. It isn’t all on one account, since I moved accounts after college, but it’s still 1000 total matches on him.

I started playing in Season 1, picked Strange up in Season 2. He’s probably the reason I’ve still played this game and how I became a tank main. He’s my only champion by a long shot and I have enjoyed tons of moments playing him.

Part of me wants to launch into a long post about other things and career stats but I won’t bore anyone with a long wall of text! Just wanted to share the milestone and say I’m proud to be a Strange main.

Portal tips?

Hey guys I’ve been recently trying to play strange more and I’ve been struggling with positioning his portal with two main problems:

First, tp to take a point or to to the payload. Like what’s the best position to put the portal at?

Second, if I want to kill players with my portal how and when should I place it? Thx:)
