I just got the game and decided to give the short pass a shot since it's only $5. One of the advertised perks was ad free premium rewards. When I go to the shop and try to claim the daily deals it still makes me watch an ad. Is it just me or is this scammy?

The game at its core is really fun, I've just learned that the passes aren't worth it. Your rewards are still capped after a couple games so you barely get any benefit.

As the snails and Overmind piled up, I eventually lost

how on earth am I supposed to beat a deck like this?

I personally dodge or early surrender unwinnable arena matches by a lot (actually if you close the app during card selection, your points won’t get deduced).

However, I have never seen my opponents doing so, even in the arena. No one surrenders, no one loses to timeout or disconnection. Heck it seems like they never take time to make decisions. Human players cannot play this game that fast and that consistent, right? So I suspect my opponents so far are all bots.

Does everyone face the same issue?

Hey, I'm Korean, and my English isn't great — I'm working with a mix of my own limited skills and a translator, so things might sound a bit awkward. Bear with me!

This is my unit tier list after hitting 10,000 trophies. From my experience, unit tiers vary quite a bit depending on your level bracket.

In the trophy range I play at, pretty much everyone has level 15 units — everyone except me, sadly.

There's a pretty significant performance gap between level 15 units and anything below. Overmind, for example, feels weak below level 12, so I rarely put it in my deck. On the flip side, Cupid (which I placed in B rank) is actually a monster in lower-level brackets where units don't have much bulk, so I'd bump it up a tier there. Just keep in mind this tier list is from my perspective assuming all units are level 15.

S Rank — stronger the further left (1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5)

1. These units perform well in literally any deck composition.
2. Their raw individual power is so high that once they stack up, your opponent simply can't deal with them. Units further to the left are nearly impossible to counter regardless of what deck you run.
3. Just having them forces your opponent to build around countering them. I always have to think about counter-picks when facing these — especially Overmind. At high trophy ranges it shows up almost every single game and it drives me crazy.

A Rank — stronger the further left (1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5)

1. These units have at least one standout stat that makes them a strong presence in any deck.
2. They can serve as powerful counter-picks or function as the main carry of a deck.
3. The downside is that they do have counters and bad matchups, so opponents can deal with them if they know what they're doing.

B Rank — stronger the further left (1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5)

1. These units can't really perform on their own — you need specific synergies in your deck to get value out of them. They're not weak per se, but as deck quality rises at higher levels, they start falling off.
2. They get easier to deal with the higher you go. For example, above 6,000 trophies I can count on one hand how many times I've lost to a Cupid deck. Out of my entire climb to 10,000 trophies, I think I've lost to a Cupid comp maybe 5 times total? That's not an exaggeration — the win rate just isn't there. You also barely see these units in opponents' decks at high level, which says a lot. As deck builds get more refined and units get tankier, these guys slowly fade into obscurity. I think they need some balancing love.

C Rank — stronger the further left (1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5)

1. To make these units work, you need to build a highly specialized deck around them — and even then, it's risky and hard to pull off consistently.
2. But honestly? When it does work, it's incredibly fun.
3. Pure romance.

10000 트로피를 달성하면서 느껴온 각 유닛의 티어리스트야

내가 느껴온바로는 각 레벨 구간대별로 티어가 많이 다르다고 생각해

내가 플레이하는 트로피구간에서는 모두가 15레벨뿐이야, 슬프게도 나만빼고 말이지

15레벨인 유닛과 15레벨 미만의 유닛과는 꽤 성능 격차가 있어
- 대표적으로 overmind가 최소 12레벨 미만에서는 성능이 안좋아서 난 덱에 거의 채용하지 않는편이야

혹은 B rank에 위치한 cupid같은 경우에도 체력이 단단하지않은 저레벨구간에서는 공략이 힘들만큼 강력한 유닛이라 티어가 올라간다고 생각해

위 리스트는 내 기준에서의 티어리스트라서 당연히 all 유닛 15레벨이라는 관점이야

그래서 각 레벨대별로 유닛의 성능을 말해보려해

S rank (왼쪽에 위치하고 있을수록 강해 1>2>3>4>5)

S rank의 특징

1. 어떤 덱 조합에 넣어도 제 성능을 낸다는 점이야

2. 유닛 단일 성능이 매우 우수해서 물량이 쌓이면 상대방은 대처가 불가능해 - list 왼쪽에 위치하고있을수록 counter를 거의 당하지않아. 어떤 덱조합으로도 공략이 불가능할만큼 강력해

3. 존재만으로 상대방에게 강제로 카운터픽을 유도하게 만들어. 내 입장에서는 저 유닛들 카운터를 위해 항상 덱조합을 고려해야해. -> 특히 overminds:(
   고레벨구간부터는 overmind가 거의 매판 등장해서 화가 날 지경이야

A rank (왼쪽에 위치하고 있을수록 강해 1>2>3>4>5)

A rank의 특징

1. 하나 이상 특화된 스탯을 지니고 있어서 덱에서 존재감이 커

2. 강력한 카운터픽으로 활용이 가능하거나, carry 역할을 하는 유닛들이야

3. 단점으로는 카운터픽 혹은 상성이 있어, 그래서 상대입장에서 쉽게 대처가 가능하다는거야

B rank (왼쪽에 위치하고 있을수록 강해 1>2>3>4>5)

1. 단일로는 제 성능을 낼수 없어서 각 시너지가 나는 유닛을 반드시 조합해줘야해

-> 약한 유닛들은 아니야, 근데 덱조합들이 튼튼해질수록 점점 제 성능을 못내

2. 고레벨로 갈수록 공략이 쉬워져 -> 예를 들자면 난 6000트로피 구간이상에서 cupid 덱을 상대로 져본적이 손에 꼽힐만큼 적어. 10000트로피 달성까지 상대방 cupid조합에게 져본게 5판이나 될까? 과장아니야 진짜로 승률이 안나와 -> 사실 상대 덱에서도 저 유닛들은 거의 안보여, 그만큼 인식이 안좋아

고레벨구간부터는 점점 덱 완성도가 올라가면서 유닛들이 너무 튼튼해져

그래서 슬슬 잊혀지는 유닛들이라 밸런싱이 필요하다고 생각해

C rank (왼쪽에 위치하고 있을수록 강해 1>2>3>4>5)

1. 이 유닛들을 쓰기 위해서는 특화 덱 빌드를 만들어야하는데 그 마저 리스크가 크거나 활용하기가 힘들어

-> 하지만 이 조합으로 승리한다면 진짜 재밌어

I see millions of players complain about how annoying the geese are but they've helped me through tough battles. One time I was up against this stupid Knight user who just kept spamming Cupid and Knights and I had the opportunity to double my goose army. And I took it. I won the battle. 1v1 me if you don't believe in goose power.

I'm the only one who uses carss like double number of Knights or zombie goose or knights up, all they ever do is add the minimum number of troops, whereas I always crush my opponents because I get 4 times upgraded Knights, for example.

I had been running Goose+Knight+Engineer+Merlinor with pretty good success.. now which should I swap out, Goose or Knight for Spartheus?
