I’ve been on Slynd for 4.5 months. Ive been spotting for 2 months straight now. It helped tremendously for my acne. The spotting is actually driving me crazy and I see no light at the end of the tunnel. Does it ever stop? I’m afraid I’ll give it another month and it still won’t stop. It’s affecting my relationship.
I’m gonna try to make this as short as possible. I started Slynd in May to help with periods and hormonal acne. When I took the inactive pills in my first pack, I had a period. It was heavy, and long and painful 😣 (I have pcos, I only have periods every 3ish months when not on birth control). After that period in the first pack, I decided I wanted to try just taking it continuously to skip the bleeding. I spotted a few days after that period ended and then no more spotting. I went to get my refill after my second pack (this would be the first time skipping the inactive pills). The refill wasn’t ready so I missed one day of active pills. I ended up having a period due to that missed pill. After that period, I’ve been spotting (or breakthrough bleeding? Idk the difference). So it’s been a month of spotting and I am OVER IT.
I know that spotting/break through bleeding is a common side effect of slynd but I did so well the first 2 months so it makes me think taking it continuously is causing the issues? Idk, just looking to see if anyone went through anything similar or suspected the same thing.
I applied to be a shopper well over a year ago and am still on the waitlist. Is this typical? Is there any way to move this along?
I am LAZY.. but I also want to look put together 🥲 I need something that IS NOT heavy and doesn’t take much work to blend in. I have redness and some slight texture on my skin. I’m not looking for full coverage, but something that potentially could minimize the redness but really just evens out my skin tone overall. Something I can put on in a few seconds. If I need to set with powder that’s fine. I do have dry skin but my skincare usually takes care of that. Does this exist?? I have tried a couple tinted spfs and was not a fan 🥲 I wear spf separately so hoping for a different product!!
I had my heart set on becoming a nurse for the last 2 years but I've been working home health for 7 years now (bedside) and I'm over it. I then considered radiography, but I'm afraid I'll get bored. I've been researching RT and I'm definitely interested in it. Did any of you start in nursing or something else and make the switch to RT? What other healthcare careers did you explore before settling on RT? Why did you choose RT?
