I just finished rereading LIMERENCE (which is so incredible and beautifully tragic) but now I’m in the mood for a fic where the toxicity is mutual.

Usually in dead doves/darker fics, the abuse/toxicity is one-sided and Hermione is the victim of it. But I want to see her being just as evil/crazy as Draco. Something where the obsession, the volatility, the insanity is on both ends. Something where she gives it to him just as good as she can take it. Where she might even kick his ass and make him bleed too lol where she’s also saying “you’re mine” and making threats as she grins with her mouthful of blood. Where she’s just as possessive and dark as he is.

Dark and twisted love on both ends 🖤

I have read all of the major titles tagged as slow burn by now I think. And the more I read the more my tastes narrow down and end up DNF’ing a lot of fics :(((

What I am looking for is a true enemies to lovers or a glacial progression on their feelings towards each other. I like good banter between them and nothing too OOC. For example, I love a snarky, dramatic and kind of toxic Draco, also I like actually not knowing what is going on in his head. I like a complicated and BAMF Hermione that despite everything is still painfully human and guarded, like Draco.

I am more into angst than fluff, but ofc I love fluff when it’s rewarding. Also I love a good sexual tension and unexpected first kisses that are more along the lines of “what the fuck was that” (that MoaM first kiss had me sighing)

It needs to be HEA please, I am sensitive <3

Yes: It can be short or super long, can be rewrites of all 7 books, it can be a WIP, adventure, historical, mystery, can have smutt etc. They just need to have really great conversations. I need an intellectual Draco that really matches Hermione.

I miss reading a Dramione that really drags you in by the eye sockets and consumes you, spits you out and then leaves you gasping for more.

I recently read and fell in love with The Sky and the Swamp by constantblathering. That was an absolute joy to read. I think about it often.

No: Lionheart, Greenlight, TRTTD, MoaM, DMatMOoBiL, etc. Miscommunication trope, dead dove, Draco cheating, not into Hermione being a mother already, mean Narcissa :(

Are there any fics where Lucius obliviates Draco and Hermione, and their friends know about it and are in on it? But eventually, they realize how miserable Draco and Hermione are without each other. Then, they accidentally run into each other, kiss, and all their memories come flooding back—so they immediately elope to make sure they can never be separated again??

I know *The Memory of You* exists, but it isn’t quite what I’m looking for since Hermione is not obliviated.

Honestly, the title carries about 50% of the weight when I'm deciding whether to read a fic.

I’ve seen some WILD titles and I’m like why would you even name it that 😭. It can make or break it for me. On the other side, I think the title sometimes has very little to do with the story itself or it may not be as obvious at first as to how it relates to the story. I prefer some subtleness or at least don’t give away the entire plot/ ending with just the title, but I’m curious about others thoughts?

Guys, I desperately need to block out any angst in my reading - it’s starting to feel like my own heart is breaking.

I need a Draco who is utterly devoted to Hermione - idm if he’s got history with anyone else, as long as it isn’t part of the plot (it needs to exist only as a prelude to the story, because I cannot deal with any Astoria or Pansy or other bint that may be taking his attention). If he’s inexperienced, even better - I have overdone the slutty Draco trope and I need something a wee bit more innocent.

(That is not to say I don’t want smut!! Fundamentally, I want the smut to be primarily Dramione. If there are other pairings between different characters that’s fine but pls, don’t make me read him with another woman. I am currently too sensitive).

Hope somebody can revitalise me before I admit defeat and go touch grass.

I don't think I've ever become so attached to an entire cast before. Not just Draco and Hermione, I mean everyone!
There's regret, apologising, grovelling, and a relationship that actually develops instead of them suddenly deciding they're attracted to each other.
There were chapters where I had to put my phone down because I physically couldn't keep reading through the tears.
Despite how devastating it is, it's also one of the most beautiful stories I've ever read.
The ending completely broke me... but in the best possible way. It felt earned and hopeful.

MIND the tags but if you're looking for a fic that will consume your every waking thought, make you ugly cry, and then leave you staring at your ceiling wondering how you're supposed to read anything else... Read The Bride.

Question for the group: If you had to recommend just one, would you choose *A Hard Row to Hoe* or *The Devil Works Hard*—both by blessdtoaster? Which did you find more enthralling, particularly in its portrayal of the Dramione dynamic?

Yeah, I'm in a specific mood. Basically something like Hermoine is being shunned from her friends or from gryffindor because she is too smart, ect.

And Draco is also being shunned for being a bad death eater or something along those lines and they team up to make their own side. Happy to neutral endings please.

ok so it was like a rewrite for dramoine from 1st yr until the war and there was even a time that whime draco and hermoine were making out after the ball, they got 'caught' by snape.

i‘ve never posted on here before so sorry if its not worded or formatted correctly. im looking for a fic the rough plot was hogwarts eighth year fic with Hermione resorted to Slytherin while being Headgirl. i remember there being a scene about hermione’s Headgirl badge turning silver at the beginning aswell as hermione holding a house meeting during her first day. hopefully someone can help me find this fic.

Now hear me out lol! Ik Lionheart Draco and MAG Draco are completely different but I just love how DRACO CENTRIC they are! They really explore why Draco is the way he is as the story unfolds and I’m absolute here for it! I’m part of the fan base that reads Dramione for Draco mostly ngl.

Hi all!!! I just finished Hogwarts: A Home and Loved it so much. I was deeply obsessed with Pansy in this fic (so much so that the dramione kind fell to the wayside for me👀👀)

Anyway I was hoping for some recs on fics that have the same vibe. Doesn’t have to be wartime, I just really loved the ensemble nature of the fic and how it was very character based.
