And why is this witch scaring the fuck out of me 😀😀😀 I don’t have a great feeling about her … please don’t spoil anything, but did you guys feel unsettled while reading her pov too?

Hi everyone, I really want to start doing yoga and slowly develop to doing those crazy poses and transitions. Would you guys recommend any beginner friendly yoga instructor video on youtube (preferably a playlist). I’ve done a few classes with private teacher, but I want to be able to improve on my own. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Hi everyone, I’m a sophomore in college currently getting a degree in Economics (4th semester). I’ve done a few share of interviews, gotten a few great feedbacks but never an offer (fyi i’m in LATAM so here you’re able to intern during college terms!).

Anyway, my interests so far are Wealth Management, and Sales (commodities). And I’m obviously open to other areas, the thing is I want to TALK to people and hear what their day-to-day looks like so I can decide what areas are for me and which aren’t! I’m big in communication and working with people, so I don’t think BO would work.

My question is, do you guys recommend sending messages on LinkedIn to Analysts, Associates and VP’s, if yes, which one would most likely answer me and actually arrange a call so I can talk and ask them questions.

I once secured a what I assumed was just a chat (my mistake and I deeply regret no preparing enough), with an Associate in FICC sales at GS, and it ended up being an interview lol, I left frustrated and the feedback was that maybe that’s not the area that I wanted … (I did my research but I wanted to learn from them not just straight up interview)

Last interview I did went amazing, at least that’s the feedback I got. It was with a VP of sales from another bank in commodities, he even said I could contact him personally if I had any questions etc. But they ended up hiring another person who had previous experience (which is something I don’t have). He still assured me he really liked me and that he left my resume with HR.

Anyhow, I think now I’m more confident when talking to these people, and would love to open up to more opportunities and I think reaching out through LinkedIn instead of just applying on their websites might be one of the best options.

What do you guys think? Any suggestion or help?

I would appreciate if it’s like post war and maybe they’re working together as partners or not. And Draco has a thing for Hermione clearly but she thinks he’s just joking or that’s just who he is. And they flirt all the time “as a joke” but not really. And I need yearning like put me through slow burn because that’s what I like. Especially if everyone around them sees and can tell they like each other, but they can’t see that themselves and it’s infuriating and perfect and slow and yeah lmao. Hi guys, so I’m looking to improve my CV as a 2nd year Economics student this summer. I’m thinking about just learning hard-skills by myself.

And I was wondering if having a certificate for certain hard skills, like SQL /PowerBI/ even advanced in excel, is necessary?

Or can I just learn by myself and hope that they believe I’m not lying? (obviously I would only add those to my CV if I knew I’m actually good at them).

Because I see people’s CVs with those skills and some people have certificates and others don’t. And most of these you end up learning at uni so I wonder if the certificate isn’t necessary at all.

Hi everyone, lately I’ve been really wanting to try new genres/new artists because my wrapped consists of : Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, 1D, 5sos, Dua Lipa(basically white girl music), Drake, Broadway Musicals, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, SZA, and a few other rappers here and there.

But I would really like to expand my music taste. I kind of want to do like an album per week, so I discover more songs!

For reference the ones that I downloaded to listen to lately are: The Great Divide by Noah Kahan (really liking this one), some Maggie Rogers, and Florence + the machine, I’ve been listening to these artists because I liked one or other song of theirs, and wanted to hear the whole album.

I would really appreciate any recommendations, any genre really (mainly Pop, Rap, maybe country, alt and indie, etc). I really enjoy happy upbeat songs, and I also really enjoy sad/slow songs.

I just really want to expand my music taste! Would appreciate any recommendations!!!

Hi so I just got turned down my first ever internship at Morgan Stanley for Sales & Trading. (I’m 19F and currently study economics). I applied two months ago for the Wealth Management area, but here in the Latam office they barely have a WM team, so the HR told me to research some other area of interest. I then did the group dynamic and passed, and the HR put me in the S&T position to continue the process, since there was no place in the WM team. I went to workshops, tried to learn the most about S&T, but was already not really feeling it. Got really close with the recruiter of early careers at the events, she even remembered my name! But at the last step of the process, which was me pitching myself to the managers/ floors, I got turned down. I did the self pitch over a month ago over zoom, and felt really good about it! But just now got the sad news that I didn’t get the job… I was just really excited for this insane opportunity (even if it wasn’t in my desirable area because who knows, I have 0 experience might as well test all the waters), and was planning my whole summer around it. My parents said that it was my first and at least I got really close to getting it, but I can’t help but feel bummed, mainly because of the experience that it would’ve added to my curriculum ☹️

Also, a month ago I went to a career fare, and talked to a sweet woman from GS that works for the accounting(?) area, and I asked her some questions about S&T, since I was in the process with Morgan Stanley and wanted to learn more about it. She then asked me to send her my CV through her email, and she would ask someone from S&T at Goldman to talk to me (really outdid myself with the networking). A week later I get a call from a Sales analyst from GS, and she says that there’s a spot open in their team, so we schedule a meeting for the next day. In my head I thought it would be more of an interview and tried to learn everything there was about FICC sales (their area), spoiler I got more confused than ever. So we chat, and I was so nervous and knew that it didn’t go well lol. A few days later she emails me saying that they moved on with other candidates, and sends me a feedback that she thinks Sales might not be the area for me because of what I talked to her about/my expectations, and wished me well.

I mainly dove into S&T after Morgan Stanley put me in that team to finish my process because they thought I fit (and I quote the recruiter, she said that she felt like I would be an amazing Salesperson). But maybe I was just trying to convince myself that this was what I wanted, when in the end all I really want is WM and areas with less risk.

I was just rewatching episode 4, and guys the YEARNING during drunk Shakespeare is insane!!!!!!! I haven’t felt what I felt through the screen in ages, only reading books. I really wish they would’ve pushed one more episode of just yearning and confusing feelings. Also the scene where Garrett is dancing … I can’t even describe what it makes me feel, I’m in love with Belmont

Hi, so my first language isn’t english, and when I started learning english, what really made me go from B1 to C2 (since I had been studying it ever since 1st grade), was reading romance books (which is something I enjoy, with a more modern vocabulary) and watching youtube vlogs.

Now I want to learn french as my 3rd language, and I want to do it all by myself. Since I learned from my mistakes while learning english, I want to learn french from the most effective way, which for me is reading. I would love some romance books recommendations, especially if they’re written by french authors! I would also appreciate if they were not fantasy (I believe i’m not really ready for world building etc that would be too hard lol), and they weren’t classics either since those are usually a more formal french dialect.

As for youtubers, I’ve found a few that caught my eye, and have watched some of their vlogs, but am also open to recommendations (women in their 20s is what I usually watch)!

Do we really think >!Beau is dying!< this season? I know many people, like me, think season 2 will be Dean and Allie’s season, which I think is the best fit, but honestly I thought they would drag the inevitable to season 3, I really don’t >!want him to die, he is such a sweetheart in the show.!<

And also I really think the writers will nail it by having this season be Dean and Allie, with Logan and Grace moments before she leaves for Paris. And then season 3 is them reconnecting. Only then it would make sense for >!Beau’s death!< to happen next season, because it’s important for Dean e Allie’s relationship development, as well as character development, but I don’t want it to happen🥲🥲🥲.

Also kind of anxious about the whole Hunter plot next season, really loved his relationship with Dean in the books, and he’s honestly boyfriend number 2 for me (tied with Logan). But I trust the writers with my life after this season 1 anyway. It really exceeded my expectations!!!!
