Audiobook VS Graphic Audio

I guess this question can go anywhere but does listening to the Graphic Audio of a book limit the book at all or does it add to it. Like is there anything missing or not said in the Graphic Audio of ACOTAR that there is in the normal audiobook? Asking for a friend, and that friend is my brain 😆

ACOTAR 10th Anniversary Audiobooks

How are they? I LOVE Elizabeth Evans as a narrator but she IS Aelin to me so I'm a little worried about listening to the new audiobooks and having her be the voice of Feyre, Rhys, etc. in my brain. Probably a dumb worry but I'd love your thoughts!

Question on release timeline for next book

If anyone has publishing knowledge here, I’d love to hear! I have a question, do we think it’s a possibility that Bloomsbury will not announce the title/and or cover/or mention what the plot line from the public before the book release date? I keep wondering if they will try a new technique with how large these books have gotten, particularly this series, to see if they can sell the books at this level without that information? I don’t have knowledge of book announcement timelines, cover reveals etc., but based on how huge SJM is, I wonder if they are going to see how much they can sell books without any of the information other than the release date. Sort of Taylor Swifting the marketing… I would be so mad at this, but I can’t help but wonder if they’ll try.. has this ever been done before? I think I’m just trying to prepare myself. At the end of the day I don’t know how much Bloomsbury actually cares about fandom opinions and wants to make as much money as possible so idk…

Feyre’s dresser

Making the jewelry box and painting it all took way longer than I expected, and sadly, I lost some painting videos but I’m super happy with how this ACOTAR dresser turned out. I decided to make mine into a jewelry box to match my room, so I added a little bit more decorative wood trimming and ornate brass decor

I tell myself that perhaps this is one of the dressers the Archeron sister’s owned as a relic from their old house and lifestyle. Obviously before Feyre ended up stripping all the brass for money haha.

And sorry the daylight photos are a little overexposed. My camera was having a hard time.

Name that cat!

Just adopted this adorable little chaos angel, but can't seem to land on a name. So why not go to the Maasverse for inspo. What do you think would be most fitting for this little man? 😺

Adriata Painting

I have poured so much love and time into this painting I just had to share it with people I hope will get it 🫶

Adriata, the castle city of the summer court.

I have tried to include as many details from the description of this magical place in the book, into my painting. Including “the glaring sun off a turquoise sea”, the “tan stone palace, the building itself perched atop a mountain-island in the heart of a half-moon bay”, “gulls flapped over the many turrets and spires”, and the bridge “raising itself so a many-masted ship could cruise through”.

If you’d like to see more detailed/close up photos of this painting you can see them on my Facebook or Instagram pages Amber Howie Art

I know she’ll probably never see this but I want to say thank you to the author, Sarah J Maas, for giving us this world 💙 what a beautiful place to escape to.

QUESTION TIME
❓Does this painting match what you pictured when you read ACOMAF?

I’m now painting Feyre’s art studio in the Spring Court. If you’d like to see how that one develops, feel free to follow my Facebook or Instagram pages Amber Howie Art

Tharion CC

I’m very curious what you guys think about Tharion and Sathia’s marriage. Do you think they will be together in the future?

I was really disappointed when she went off without him.

Graduation Cap Ideas!

Hello! I'm looking into doing something "fire" and Aelin inspired. Maybe a shorter quote? The cap design can also just be icons or symbols from the universe, so a quote is not needed.

Anyone find SJM FMCs as kind of “pick me” vibes?

Aelin, Feyre, Bryce… all kind of “I’m not like other girls” vibe. Or I don’t date “alpha male controlling a holes” or fae alphas, yet proceeds to date fae alphas.

I guess a lot of fmcs are written like this - I struggle to relate a lot of the time because I find them immature, low depth, or all kind of “typical” pick me characters. All have the same snarky, back talk, disrespectful, argumentative monologue going on.

▲ 1.3k r/SarahJMaas

My girlfriend told me her favorite book was ACOMAF, and I wanted to get back into reading, and here we are.

I finished Kingdom of Ash last night in only 5 days. All together took about 3.5 months. I did it to get more common interests with my gf, and it took on a life of it's own. What a ride it was.

Throne of Glass was my favorite, then Crescent City, and then ACOTAR.

Abraxos Fan Art

One of my friend’s favorite character is always the animal sidekick. I recently got into woodcarving as a hobby and decided to carve her a likeness of her one true love ✨Abraxos✨

The staining didn’t turn out as nice as I had hoped but I’m excited to share him with you all anyway!

Queer side story

Can we please get a queer side story with Emory and Mor?!!! Like pleaseeeee lol anyone else? Like almost want that more than I need more cassian and Nesta lol. Almost. I’m kinda almost not excited about Elaine and Az also but she could make it totally epic. Have loved them all so I’m sure I’ll love it unless the five year break ruins the rest of the series 😬

Spoiler: Found the perfect Song for THAT Scene in ACOWAR

I found this song and thought it would fit perfectly to the scene in ACOWAR Chapter 76 by Sarah J Maas where >!Rhysand dies.!<

In my opinion this describes >!Feyres feelings!< perfectly.

I am probably going to re-read that scene with the song playing in the background and let it break me again. 😅

Edit: added a new link to the song because the previous one wasn't working.

Translation request of the quote "you do not yield"

Hello all!

I'm working on a very personal piece of art for myself. If anyone can confirm, adjust or correctly translate the quote into any of the listed languages, I'd be eternally grateful. Even better, if you can attach a picture in the destination script, I'd really really appreciate it!

I know direct translation isn't really there in a lot of languages, so whatever you feel fits the best would be wonderful. I like: give in, back down, surrender, comply. Along those lines

Thank you!

Next book

Know what I would love for the next ACOTAR book? To have it about what Nesta and Elaine experienced in the cauldron.
I want like a Tower of Dawn story that makes me obsessed with these Cinderella step sister types. Like that would be sick and so much more of a redemption arc than whatever silver flames was supposed to be.

Will there ever be a book for Mor?

I know the books are mainly about the Archeron sisters but I think a book on Mor is also deserved as I see her as a pretty important character.

I just find her as a very intriguing character and think she deserves to find complete happiness after all the terrible things she’s been through.

Or maybe not even a whole book dedicated to Mor just some POV on her would be good.

Does anyone think that will happen?

SJM publishing company name ideas

Was chatting with my partner about the likelihood of SJM leaving Bloomsbury and opting to start a publishing company, like Brandon Sanderson’s Dragonsteel Entertainment.
(After the Call Her Daddy interview, wouldn’t be surprised if she did once ACOTAR 6&7 are out).

We were playing around with name ideas and came up with ‘Fireheart Ink.’ as a play on words, but wanted to know what name ideas do you have?
