Are my TOG OOP covers authentic?

Are my TOG OOP covers authentic?

Hello! I bought a set of TOG (except Assassins Blade) with the OOP covers off of eBay. Could somebody compare these pictures with theirs to help me make sure I didn’t get scammed? Thankfully the shop accepts returns so I should be able to get a refund if they are. Thank you in advance!

CC House of Earth and Blood Brought Tears to my Eyes

My friend and I have been reading through Sarah’s books since last winter and had just finished QoS. It is my favorite in ToG series so far. Anyways, my buddy decided we should tandem read CC and EoS since we want to be caught up with all of Sarah’s books by end of Oct. I started CC with goal of starting EoS a few chapters in. I just couldn’t put it down, I liked how different it was compared to ACOTAR and ToG. I don’t want to give spoilers as to why. Needless to say, I didn’t pick up EoS at all and finished House of Earth and Blood last night. I started tearing up in the last few chapters, maybe it’s because of the grief and loss I’ve endured recently in my life. I just didn’t think I’d connect on such an emotional level. I’ve enjoyed ToG and ACOTAR, but CC really takes the cake in my eyes. I sure hope the next installments of CC live up to what I’ve experienced in the first one. Through love, all is possible.

Even with all the feels, I’ve decided to finish ToG before continuing CC. Onward to EoS!

Throne of Glass/Crescent City theory

So…I’m in my reread of the whole Maasverse before the release of the new ACOTAR 6 book (as one does), and I noticed something. In Tower of Dawn, Nesryn and Sartaq, while going through the first old watch tower, they find Asterian blades, like the Asterian horses, but maybe also the Asteri from Crescent City?? It says they were a people from long ago, fae, the swords they find sparkle like starlight (like the Star Swords????). Later when Aelin and company are going through the trove in Anielle Rowan finds more Asterian blades and comments on them being “other worldly”. Has anyone else noticed this? Are they the same people? Am I loosing my mind? 😅 just thought I’d share!

Acotar new upcoming hardcovers

Am i the only one that the covers of the books are really bothering me?, it’s not that the originals were so pretty and they’re changed them, the problem is they changed them to the worst covers ever, the series looks cheap with them, i was hoping after the announcement of the hardcover covers of book 6 and 7, that they will change the covers for the whole series, but nooo they are also making the hardcovers with this hideous neon colors to match the upcoming ones, whyyy? Does anyone really find them pretty? Or suitable for the series?? They may be suitable for a cute romcom book, but not a fantasy series!!

New theory of the timeline of the three series

Hey yall! So currently I believe that the three worlds in the maasverse happened on a timeline. Clotho is studying as much and confirmed the theory.

Since time isn’t linear, one can travel back and forth from future to past at any time. I always kind of thought the order went, TOG, ACOTAR, then CC but last night something struck me. What if ACOTAR happened, then CC. Then when first light disappeared, it paved the way for TOG.

What do you think? I’m dyinggggg to know where Sarah takes this!

New hard cover books

I haven’t been able to find the news of what the new books will look like. I’ve recently purchased the whole series in hard cover. Are they saying they won’t match? Mine look like the ones in the picture. Thanks!

Nesta- Yay or Nay?

*May contain spoilers from the entire series*

Reposting this from my Goodreads discussion-

I seem to be the minority when it comes to how I feel about Nesta. I am almost done with my re-read of the ACOTAR series- about 20% through ACOSF. She was my least favorite person the first time around, and ACOSF was my least favorite book because of her. I am finding this time around that nothing has changed. Mind you, maybe when I actually finish this book again I will feel different? But I don't think so. Yes, she has had some good moments that show "love" in her own way, and obviously she has done so much for the Fae during the war against Hybern. HOWEVER, her attitude is just miserable. Now, I love a bad bitch who knows her worth, BUT she's just... a bitch. And every time she cries "poor Elain" without even remotely acknowledging Feyre's struggles getting to where she is, I just want to punch her.

Can you tell me if you agree? If you don't, please tell me why you love her so I can try and understand. I really want to like her but it's hard.

New ACOTAR hardcovers

I'm a hardcover book gal and I've just seen the news that the new books will be released in the colourful covers the same as the paperbacks and the original 1-5 will be re released to match... Anyone else super put off by this?? Feels a bit "sales tactic-y" because they'll make bank on all the people who already have the other covers and buy the new ones to have the matching set... And they've conveniently left this news until the last minute, so I've already preordered the new books that now won't match 🙄. Ugh it's really annoyed me.

every FMC has everyone falling for them

It’s kind of weird to me how every in all three series the main characters get so much attention from men. Before it wasn’t that noticeable but now I’m reading CC and it’s kind of crazy that both Connor and Ithan had a crush on Bryce and there’s this weird ass relationship that she has with Tharion, obviously there’s Hunt and even Micah asked her out on a date, like we get it she’s attractive but that’s just too much, it’s like other woman don’t exist in Midgard.

In TOG and ACOTAR it’s more subtle but still both Feyre and Aelin have a lot of people interested in them.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s a bit much?

Not the regular tandem read question

I know this is a topic that's been debated to death and that's not my question. I'm just starting QoS now and undecided if its going to be a tandem read or not. BUT, IF I were to tandem read, how do I go about it?

I'm reading the ebooks on Kindle, I have a guide as a screenshot but I'm afraid I'll just keep reading one book and forget where I was supposed to stop. Did you go through the entire book and mark the stops and then begin reading?

Struggling to finish CC 3

I absolutely loved CC1, Hunt and Bryce’s relationship development, the plot… I just couldn’t stop reading.

I didn’t like CC2 as much as the first book but I still really enjoyed it.

I’m now in chapter 81 of House of Flame and shadow and I’m really struggling… I have for nearly the whole book. I really miss Hunt and Bryce relationship, as I feel like it does no longer feel like it did in HOEAB and beginning of HOSAB. I feel like Bryce doesn’t understand everything Hunt went through and is so hard on him. Also, the whole Asteri plot has become so repetitive and predictable??? I miss the mysteries in book one!!

It feels like they’re no longer the main characters, I find myself looking forward to Lidia and Ruhn moments every time, I feel like that’s what keeps me going.

Anyone else felt this way???
