I just wanted to share this because I see a lot of posts on here of people trying to buy badges. This postcard came in the mail with my badge. It says tickets are non-transferable. That means whoever’s name is registered to the badge is the only one who can use it. You will be asked to show identification when you get your badge and it must match the name on the badge or you wont get in. I’ve shared a picture here. Also, even if they DO change the name and mail it to you, they can sell you the badge, report their badge stolen and have the one the sold you deactivated. Then they will get a new badge free and go to Dreamcon and pocket your money
I noticed the RSVPs for the first three days were announced, but I saw additional events added on PixelPass that weren’t listed initially. Did I miss the announcement about additional RSVPs opening, or was there no announcement at all?
I’m a 24M and my friends canceled on me last minute so I’m going solo and I don’t want to be alone at my first con.

Dreamcon is next Friday, but my tickets still have not arrived yet. I checked tracking and it said they are at a distribution center in Detroit. Does anybody know if will they give me replacement tickets at Dreamcon if they don’t come in, or should I ask for a refund?

It’s honestly hilarious to look at this, but with only 8 days left until Dreamcon they decided it was prime time to accept my application (which I had submitted back in May) to be a cosplay meetup captain. I genuinely can’t do anything with this since the word of mouth or even a post probably wouldn’t have enough time to reach enough people to hold a gathering. Plus everyone & their mother have probably already finished their lineups for Dreamcon. So I’m just gonna pretend I never got this confirmation…

As a first-time attendee, should i even worry about trying to RSVP, or is it better to just wing it? Are there more exciting panels to attend that doesn't require RSVP?

I’m going to Dreamcon with my boyfriend who is boring. I see all the fun events at bars after and I really wanna have a night out. Obviously no guys. Girls only. My boyfriend will probably be at the hotel being boring but you’re welcome to come there after if you want.
