Vic is one of my faves among the Dropout cast but for whatever reason I just really don’t like Very Important People. Anyone else feel this way?

Crowd control takes standup comics and asks them to do crowd work with restrictions. And it actively makes the crowd work worse than it would be at any other venue.

The comics never know quite what to do with the shirt prompts and some of the stories are just not interesting or are very awkwardly told.

It just takes all the best parts of crowdwork and it makes them worse by forcing the comics to have awkward, stilted conversations with people who don't ever seem super into comedy shows.

Like on the last episode those two Christian girls acted like they were SO uncomfortable with someone making fun of their religion. Why would you go specifically to talk about religion and not be cool with comics joking about religion?

I hate to think they're wasting so much money on stars like Taylor and Gianmarco for a show that's just so bland when Dropout in general is so interesting.

Every time I see it I just wish it was a comeback of "play it by ear" or something.

So I just watched the rookie episode where the game changer set and cast appeared (Sam, Vic, Zach,Anna and Jacob)

For years (YEARS!) I have been telling my partner that the USA attempt at Taskmaster was a bust for many reasons. The main reason being the network issues that completely destroyed the taskmaster vibe.

Alex Horne has been involved with two Game Changer episodes and I am truly hopeful that Taskmaster makes an appearance on Dropout TV ❤️ dropout is a great platform and has the support (unless I’m wrong) to make this not only happen, but to do it justice ^fingers crossed! 🤞

Was that Alex Horne? Are we getting a Sam Reich Taskmaster?
