It’s a hard decision

I’ve had Rijkaard ever since he came out. It’s been almost 7 months I think and he is still preforming amazingly even though he’s out of position and outdated. But, It’s time I replace him with desailly, but I still need 2k shards. The thing is I can shard Rijkaard for 2.5k shards but idk if I can shard him. I like to keep the cards that have served me well for so long. Even if they aren’t on the bench and sitting in my reserves. So should I shard him and get desailly now or wait and save up that extra 2k shards?

Games are meant to be enjoyed not endured

Hello guys, while I was worshipping today, this message came to me. Sometimes, we can become so focused on winning, performing well, or achieving a particular result that we forget that games are supposed to be enjoyable.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to win. There’s nothing wrong with being competitive or wanting to improve. But when the game becomes a constant source of frustration, anger, anxiety, or pressure, we have to ask ourselves: Am I still enjoying this, or am I simply enduring it?

No game is perfect, but a game is supposed to be something you choose to do because you enjoy it. It shouldn't feel like a burden you have to carry. We shouldn't finish a gaming session feeling emotionally drained every single time.

And I think this applies beyond gaming too. Sometimes, we can turn things that were meant to bring us joy into sources of unnecessary pressure because we become overly focused on the outcome.

So, yes, play to win. Improve your skills. Build your team. Take the game seriously when you want to. But don't forget to enjoy the journey.

Games are meant to be enjoyed, not endured.

Finally Reached 50 Stars as a New player. Here are some tips and what i have learned

Upvote if this helps! I spent some time putting this together for you all.

Disclaimer: I started playing just a month ago, so I’m no pro. I’m also not completely F2P—I bought the countdown Dembélé and Yamal because I was struggling in attack, especially against the high-budget squads in the Middle East server.

  1. Defending
    • Playstyles: Always use a CB with the Anticipate playstyle to stop counterattacks and long balls. For RB/LB, focus on high pace to counter opponents using the Rapid playstyle on the wings.

• Auto-Switching: Set auto-switching to Semi-Auto. Full auto pulls your defenders out of position, making it easy for opponents to exploit gaps or skill-spam. Hold your shape instead of rushing out.

• Pro Tip: If your defense is weak and you can't afford a top CB yet, switch to a formation with a CDM.

  1. Midfield
Focus on your midfield after securing a solid defense and attack. Balanced midfielders help bridge the gap, but they shouldn't take priority over a weak frontline or backline.

  2. Attacking
    • Agility Matters: Avoid players who feel heavy on the ball. Look for attackers with Rapid or Trickster playstyles to keep your offense dynamic and make comebacks easier.
    • Play to Strengths: Don't sprint with slow players—use them to hold up the ball, spot making runs, and pass to your faster attackers.

  3. Playmaking & Skill Moves
    • Mix It Up: Don't attack exclusively through the center. Vary your attacks between the wings and the middle to stay unpredictable.
    • Skill Moves: Learn a few skill moves, but don't spam them predictably. Use them only when you see an opening.

  4. Formations
If a formation works for you, don't change it just because you lost two matches in a row. Different formations affect player runs (some hold back while others push forward), so pick one that matches your playstyle and stick with it.

Mindset & Frustration
Grinding can be frustrating, especially against cross-spammers or long-ballers. If you lose two matches in a row, take a break. Playing frustrated leads to rushing your defenders, making silly mistakes, and pulling players out of position. Stay calm and play patient.
Feel free to ask any questions in the comments

Tried a new formation 4-1-3-2 today and sticking to Defensive mode all the time

I mostly play 4-3-3 Attack primary formation and 4-4-1-1 Attack as secondary in H2H but thought of trying something new today :- 4-1-3-2 formation.

Interesting part was that I didn’t change the Tactics Mode to balanced or attacking and stuck with Defensive tactics mode throughout the matches. I wanted to see if this formation could still control the game while staying compact and protecting against counters.

So far, I’m pretty happy with it. The midfield feels more compact, the two-striker setup gives me better options through the middle, and Defensive mode doesn’t seem as passive as I expected.

Current results with 4-1-3-2:

• Ranked H2H: 4 Wins - 1 Draw - 2 Losses

Goals: 9 scored – 5 conceded

• Tactics Mode: Defensive

I’m going to keep using this setup for the next few days and see if the results stay consistent or if today was just a good run.

Also played an unranked practice match after ranked ended and won 2-0.

Anyone else using 4-1-3-2 in H2H? Would love to know how it’s working for you.

Should I wait or spend my last draft? 😭

My draft luck has been absolutely terrible so far.

I’ve done drafts and got 119 Gusto THREE TIMES 💀 Nothing else really worth mentioning.

I’m now on my last draft.

Should I:

- 🔴 Wait for the upcoming Liverpool / Man City players

- 🎲 Use it now and take my chances

- 🧠 Do something else with the draft?

What would you guys do if you were in my position?

Would love to hear from people who have already tried the upcoming drafts.

Got lucky with the first 10 pack opening for this event

Is Raul a good striker in general or should I get another striker with a different play style?

Those who have used this card, please drop a review (Please read the body text)

If I use him then I'll get a +1 ovr and I play vsa so that'll be helpful, but I'm unsure because of his play style, would you recommend him for h2h?

Cant seem to climb with this team

i have used chatgpt to rephrase this text in a proper way

I’m F2P for the most part, although I did buy the Del Piero card that was available in the shop for around 50 cents.

I started playing the game only a month or two ago. In H2H, I sometimes come across opponents who just seem to completely dominate me. For example, Barzagli can tackle some of the players easily, but there are other situations where he can't even get close to them. I’m not blaming the card, because I know it’s not just about Barzagli. I’ve also had situations where my Dembélé flicks the ball up, my opponent’s defenders easily get possession, and then they somehow pass it to the forwards who score from ridiculously far outside the box. My defenders don’t even manage to get close

Again, I’m not complaining about my team. I feel like I’ve simply reached the point where I can’t improve by relying on spamming skill moves, dribbling, and tackles. The problem is that I don't really know how to actually get better.

I play H2H against a friend almost every day, and his team is fairly similar to mine. When I rush his defenders, they win possession and immediately play the ball to his CAM or forwards, who then take long-range shots and score.

After browsing this subreddit, I’ve noticed people commenting things like, “You can easily reach FC Champion with this team,” and similar things. My team is just as good, if not better, yet I’m still struggling.

So I’ve realized that my team isn't the problem anymore—my gameplay is. I’ve reached a point where I need to actually learn how to play H2H properly rather than relying on my squad or spamming mechanics.

Should I sign petr cech or more than 1 player in 45k shards?

this is my current squad and I want to solidify it a bit by getting better defence and midfield. I initially wanted 119 del piero but I took this del piero in purchase instead. I was thinking of getting petr cech as GK but he's kinda too costly and in 45k shards, I can get pirlo and some other 119 or 120 players . So should I get petr cech, or is there any other aspect of upgrading my squad?

Is this hagi good?

All the other hagi’s in the past were insanely good so I was just wondering, is he still insanely good at nearly everything offensive like the other past hagi cards?
