Hi everyone,

I'm making this post because I just now came across another post from someone claiming to have experienced the exact same issue. Obviously, I have no way of knowing whether their claim was genuine, but it made me wonder whether I might not be the only person who has been affected by this.

I initially had no intention of making a public post about my situation. I know that cheaters sometimes use Reddit and the forums to claim they were falsely banned, and honestly, if I were reading a post like this myself, I would probably be skeptical as well. My plan was simply to submit a support ticket and wait for it to be reviewed.

Unfortunately, I have now been waiting without receiving a response, which is why I'm posting this.

What happened

Two days ago, I received an email informing me that my profile had been blocked for violating the Terms of Service, specifically in relation to cheating or "botting."

At first, I assumed there had been some kind of mistake. I contacted a friend who was able to look up my account, and he confirmed that my profile was indeed banned.

I want to be completely clear:

• I have never used third-party software to cheat.
• I have never used a bot.
• I have never RMT'd.
• I have never intentionally violated the game's rules.

After getting home from work and realizing I could no longer access the game, I immediately submitted support ticket #46796237, explaining that I believed the ban was a mistake and asking for my account to be reviewed.

It has now been three days since I submitted the ticket, and I have still not received a response.

One possible explanation — purely speculation

There is one thing that has been on my mind, although I want to emphasize that this is only speculation and I have no evidence that this is what happened.

A few days before my ban, I killed DesmondPilak, a streamer from NA. I wasn't watching his stream at the time, and unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a VOD available, so I have no idea whether he reported the encounter, I know it was him because my friend recognized the name of the dogtag.

I recently heard that streamers can submit reports directly to BSG. I have absolutely no issue with that system — if a streamer encounters something suspicious, I think it's perfectly reasonable for them to bring it to BSG's attention.

If Desmond did report me, I want to make it clear that I do not blame him whatsoever. It is not the streamer's responsibility to determine whether someone is actually cheating. Their responsibility would simply be to bring a suspicious player to BSG's attention, after which BSG should investigate and make the final decision.

I also have no idea whether Desmond even reported me. It wasn't some unbelievable or particularly impressive kill, so I actually doubt it. However, the timing is difficult not to notice: I killed the first streamer I knowingly encountered, and a couple of days later my account was banned.

I sincerely hope that BSG does not issue manual bans solely on the basis of a player report without additional evidence. At the same time, since I have never knowingly done anything that should trigger an anti-cheat ban, I can't help but wonder whether something along those lines may have happened, which is why I included the unedited clip of me killing him, in the ticket (in case it was related).

Again, I am not accusing Desmond of anything, and I am not claiming to know what caused my ban. I'm simply trying to understand how this happened.

What I'm asking for

At this point, I'm simply asking for someone from BSG to take a look at my support ticket and review my account.

I genuinely love this game, and being suddenly unable to play it without any explanation beyond a cheating/botting violation has been incredibly frustrating.

I've also invested a significant amount of money into my account over the years, including buying The Unheard Edition, so losing access to the game like this is obviously not something I can take lightly.

I've heard from friends that BSG may use hardware bans as well, which would make buying a new copy particularly difficult. I don't want to buy a new account and pc to play again — I simply want my existing account reviewed and, if the ban was made in error, reinstated.

I'm not asking anyone on the forum to blindly believe me. I understand that anyone claiming to have been falsely banned should be treated with skepticism.

I'm just asking for one BSG employee to take a look at Support Ticket #46796237 and review the ban.

If I actually violated the Terms of Service, then obviously I will have to accept the consequences. But if this was a mistake, I would really appreciate the opportunity to have it investigated.

Battlestate Games has a clear pattern of behavior: they push anti-consumer limits, face extreme community revolt, and then backtrack to save their business.

• The Unheard Edition Precedent: When BSG originally tried to lock the PvE mode behind a $250 paywall and reneged on their "all DLC free for EOD owners" promise, mass community rage combined with threats of legal reporting forced Nikita to give EOD owners free PvE access anyway.

So what can we do? We were promised to never have to wipe out PvE accounts but we have no access to new content without a wipe. Already wiped your account? Are you still mad about losing hundreds of hours of work just to have to wipe it for 1.0 access? I am, well we have to hold BSG accountable and let them know the continued actions of failing to follow through with promises that lead to purchases is unacceptable.

If enough people take action, BSG will get the message loud and clear. We wont be baited into buying things and then let them off the hook when they pull a bait and switch.

This specific structural characteristic was the material reason for purchase for a significant portion of the consumer base.

Material Alteration of Paid Service: Following recent software updates, the trader has structurally locked newly released baseline content (the 1.0 core storyline and the upcoming October Prestige progression system) behind a mandatory, forced profile wipe for legacy users. Legacy users are blocked from accessing these key components of the paid software unless they consent to the deletion of hundreds of hours of accumulated progress.
3. Breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 / EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive: By implementing this technical barrier, the trader has altered the digital service so that it no longer matches the original description under which it was sold. I have overall gotten maybe 20 of these SCAVs with no gear. Completely empty inventory. I have gotten like 5 in my last 15 runs. Anybody knows what's up with that? My Fence rep is 8...

Have taken a break and decided to come back and I am struggling to get 60 fps. Easily used hit averages of 100+

From what I can see neither by GPU or CPU are thermal throttling, The overlay makes me think I'm CPU bottlenecked but still I'd expect more than 60 fps running through interchange. DLSS seems to drop my performance, again making me think its CPU bottlenecked

Current build is:

Ryzen 7800X3D
RTX 4080

64GB Ram, EXPO enabled in bios to 6000mhz

I have updated graphics and chipset drivers, as well as closing as many background processes as possible.

I do play at 3440x1440p but still should have the hardware to support it.

Any advice is welcome.

I bought the game from Steam. Even though the BSG client never lets me choose a server and I get good ping in games like CS:GO and Valo, I'm forced to play EFT at 150-200 ping. Does anyone have any ideas about this?

it doesn't let me close the page when I uncheck the box.  I can't click on what I want; it won't let me.
