Anyway to get out of the personal trainer contract?

I was told it was $20 a per session for a PT but apparently that was only for the first 2 sessions then they said it changes to $88 bi weekly. Locked in a $1200 contract. I only see my PT once a week and my PT already missed 2 weeks because sick/vacation. I like the gym for the most part except the PT. My plan is to bring it up to the PT manager at the gym to hopefully get it cancelled and if that fails I’ll call the district manager.

Thoughts or advice?

EOS Cancellation

Guys can someone help me out :( I signed up for a free 7 day EOS trial and on my first day going I got pressured into signing up for the basic membership. I called later that day to cancel because I didn't like how pushy the vibes were there. The lady I spoke with on the phone didn't sound like she was from that location but she said I should see an email in a couple days "confirming my cancellation"?? I've checked my email and even my spam and haven't seen anything. She also said I would be refunded my $11 but that hasn't shown up either. I'm planning on calling and saying all this tomorrow but does anyone have any tips?

Sorry if I sound stupid I'm new to all of this.

Do the gym memberships through your health insurance have to be renewed every year, or do they continue indefinitely unless cancelled?

Just wondering because I had Amped Fitness & I had to renew that one every year. Haven’t had EOS for a full year yet so not sure about this one.

People earning 26000 activity points with one activity - how?

The community tab has the rankings for my EOS location and there are two people who are ALWAYS #1 and #2 on the rankings. Most of their workouts look like normal amounts of calories burned/activity points, but they have at least one workout each month that shows that they burned 26K calories doing one activity. Of course, you can't actually see what that activity is.

I don't really care about the rankings themselves, but I am curious about what exactly one could do to earn that many points. A quick Google search tells me that running is one of the most intense activities you can do, burning 800-1000 calories per hour. So are these people running 26 hours over the course of a day, full speed the entire time, with no breaks? Or is there some magic piece of equipment that they are using that allows them to burn so much?

Can I cancel the welcome workout by replying to the text message?

They sent a message like this:

EOS Fitness - FL, Hi *****, thanks for booking your Welcome Workout at EoS Fitness. If you need to reschedule, please reply to this text or call (***) ***-**** Reply STOP to unsubscribe

Can I just text cancel to this. I hate talking on the phone zone being pressured, or I could just not show up. I actually already had a membership here, I only had to make a new membership because I switched from Active & Fit, to Fitness Your Way insurance gym plan.

What happens if I don’t show up for the Welcome Workout?

They put me down for Monday & they said it comes with the membership. But I was already a member here before & resigned up under my heath insurance(Silver Sneakers) instead of paying the $10/mo directly. I already know how everything works in this gym.

Day one pricing

Hello, I have two centers opening near me. One opens at the end of the month and the other one is unknown but later in 2026. I’m considering joining the one that opens at the end of the month even though it’s farther away to at least get access while the other one opens (if the pricing is the same). Does anyone know if the day one pricing the same for all locations? I believe it’s 15.99 for the will power and 19.99 for the will power + towel.

Eos personal training misled recurring contact

Hello everyone

Does anyone has or had same experience with eos ?

They misled me signed up a recurring PT contract, over $1200 . And I don’t even know I signed up this contract .
And I went in ask to cancel and get refund, the only words from them is “well you signed up”

I don’t even know this contract existed and I have never used any of the sessions .
Pisses me off

If you had experienced this situation, what should I do ?

PT Cancelation Fees

i started Going to EOS back in September and my mother was talked into signing me up for the personal training. when we signed up they said the contract was four months then we could cancel. I did the training and got injured during November. I didnt want to continue paying $150 bi weekly so I talked to an associate there and they said to come in and scan a QR code and cancel from there. I go to the club and scan the code and think it’s done. I didnt go to another session for the time and I paid that month already. I get a letter in the mail from them saying I owe 450 for past dues when I call they say it’s from the personal training. That they were charging me until February and that it isn’t negotiable. They said it was in the contract but I can’t find anything about that. They said I can’t use the sessions either until I pay them. So I’m pissed and trying to figure out a course of action from here

Just found out about this place and have a question about the screening-cardio room

I'll preface this as "wishful thinking" but, if you're someone that trains EARLY every day (like say, 5am), would it be possible for the employees to play a movie of your choice? It doesn't even have to be the entire movie, as I don't do cardio for more than 45 minutes anyway. If there's anything I love doing just as much as exercise, it's going to the theater to see classic films. Since this place sounds like it's literally the "best of both worlds" for a guy like me, I'm really excited to check it out.

Just joined, as expected.

So just joined to my local eos. I was a member a few years ago but went to a different option because of how busy it was. I go after work usually between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. I'm very distressed about the lack of care the other members take in the gym. Weights are left on machines and bars. 20 somethings are running around staring at their phone the entire time. Wouldn't mind seeing a bit more discipline imposed but I understand the crowd that populates a gym. Just want to rant

Corp+ membership question

Kinda specific question: if I signed up for a corp+ membership at a lux location, do I have access to all other lux locations? Or do I just have access to that one lux gym (my home gym) and all other standard locations?
