Canceling gone wrong

I emailed them before 30 days and they never responded. Now I called them today and they said it’s not enough time. That I’m past the 30 days.

It is their fault. Why would I pay for August if I can’t legally step into the gym.

Any advice on how not to pay the charge?

I had to wait July 3-5th bc corporate was closed. My EOS gym person told me to call customer service. He said to email them or call.

I wish I called. Instead of emailing. But I don’t like talking on the phone.

Money is tight. That’s why I canceled. I don’t want to pay an extra month. When I can’t step inside the building. This never happened at Fitness connection.

Any advice. Should I freeze my credit card at the end of the month.

This gym is exhausting.

So about the annual fee

Hey all, so I’m looking into getting a membership to Eos since it seems nice and it’s the closest gym to my location, but I would only be using it for less then 2 months, and it seems like a waste to spend an extra $60 for that small amount of time when I won’t even be using it after that.

Is there a way to work around the annual fee or do they have a plan specifically for short term use like this? Thanks in advance!

Can you add premium recovery to corporate membership?

Switched to a corporate membership since my work offered it, but I lost the ability to use the cold plunge and cryolounge. Is there a way to add premium recovery to my corporate membership as an add on?

Thoughts on the new app?

Overall I think the new app is fine, but there are 2 issues I've encountered already. I exclusively take classes, so these issues are from that perspective. Are they "first world problems"? Probably, but I do pay for it, I get to complain. Obvs not to my location, they don't control the app, but as we all know, corporate customer service can be difficult

  1. Booking a G-Fit class in the app used to trigger an email confirmation with a way to add it to your calendar, and then a 1 hour reminder email. The confirm email also had a button to add to calendar. The new app doesn't confirm to email at all, the app doesn't allow you to add to your calendar, nor does it automatically send a reminder email 1 hour ahead of the class. I'd be ok with push notifications instead of emails, it doesn't do that either.

  2. The "confirm attendance" button for classes is restricted to 5 min prior to the start of class. Those of us that take classes in the pool are usually in the water by then, and we don't bring our phones in with us. Yesterday we were all standing around the pool waiting to confirm before we could all try to climb in at once.

Do any of you have other thoughts? If you don't use these functions, please don't give your opinion of my concerns, you do you

Do we personal trainers make commission off protein powder, BCAA, multivitamins etc?

I really make my personal trainers, the one before him left the company. But both sell me these products. They definitely work and I like taking them just curious. I’ll stick with EOS products if it helps him out.

The infrared sauna can’t be real

The eos by me uses these light strips in the infrared sauna. Am I tripping or are these just regular TikTok LED strips??

I’m no infrared expert and maybe I’m wrong, but can someone here with more knowledge than I please confirm whether or not these are legit infrared lights? I’m paying almost $50 a month to have access to these kinds of upgraded amenities and want to make sure I’m not being scammed!

Private gym vs EOS

Has anyone here made the switch to a “private” aka locally owned gym from EOS and loved it? I recently tried a day pass at a private gym by me and loved it. I was basically on my own and the equipment was top tier. However it’s $60/month. I currently pay $28/month at EOS. But I’ve been going to EOS for over 6 years and I’ve never seen the crowds as bad as they are now at all times of day.

Trainer contract

EOSFitness got me into buying a 88 dollar 30 minutes biweekly, One-Month trainer contract. Is this worth it? I feel like it's a bit too much (Not even sure if it's a one-month contract, I assume so because I wanted to be able to reach my goal in a month). It only day one so I may have enough time to cancel.

Edit: They sent me the agreement contract, and it says 4 month and total $720 obligation, 88$ per bi-weekly

Who do I contact about a pest control issue?

One of the locations in LA county has a serious ROACH infestation. I see at least one every time I'm there which means there's way more where that came from. The staff couldn't care less when I brought it to their attention.

Will Power VIP vs. Will Power - Guest Privileges

It's clear that The "VIP" membership allows for unlimited guests but what does the non-VIP membership include? Surely there is an allotment of guest passes. Anyone with experience know what it is?

Website FAQs seem to group all Will Power memberships together and says its unlimited which doesn't align with this chart.

Question about om

Applied to an operation manager position, it says $65k salary. What should I expect with this position? What will I be doing? How many hours will I work. How are days off scheduled? I need an honest review. The gym is in a rich area. Everyone in my area left crunch to go there and it seems like a good gym.
