Last time, u/Britown said that Alexander won for being the most consistent at winning battles. Today, we're focusing on Old Fritz himself – Frederick the Great. Fun fact: this whole series of posts was inspired by a debate I had one time with someone who was unironically arguing that Frederick won because Ivan "had no rebuttal to him", which was later clarified to be referring to the fact Ivan did not have a proper verse responding to Frederick's. Unfortunately, this criterion is unable to be used for this battle, since Ivan didn't have a rebuttal in the form of a verse to Alexander or Catherine, and besides, I feel like if you're gonna argue that having a verse to respond is a rebuttal, then you can argue that so is a garotte wire, even if you don't actually use it because your opponent died all on his own before you were going to.
