I am not sure if I can have a disabled Essa
By the way this Essa will probably be retiring so she is nearly 15 years old and is blind ‘ deaf and disabled when I say retiring soon I will probably end up only take care of a few more outings this week and then I will retire her
So I recently got the new build a bear spider and she is a new essa of mine I have no ideas what to name her do u have any ideas?

Side note: His homemade vest is a little tight on him, so if anyone has any recommendations for a very small sized harness (around the size of a beanie baby or maybe a rat?) that would be great.
I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this question. I know a lot of essa owners like douglas, so I assume I'll be able to get answers here.
I see so many essa owners with douglas plushies, but I just don't understand what makes this brand so much more appealing than the rest. Are they more realistic than other brands? Are they higher quality?
This isn't meant to offend anyone. I actually have a douglas hedgehog on the way which I'd love to share here if I don't upset this community.
I got her 2 days ago has a late birthday gift! Her name is Coley/Koi! I modified her ears and tail and gave her more markings!
I was also thinking about a idea too with the plush base like a shark tail and shark fin? So I am thinking about getting another one :]

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows of other animals by Douglas that have the same/similar body type to Tyson the wolf, I am wanting one that is around 16", is floppy, and is in a standing position. Please do NOT show me dogs, I am aware of all of the dogs, I am specifically wondering if any cats or other misc. animals have this body shape too. I am open to seeing ones by other brands that fit the criteria and also retired douglas ones. Thank you!

Ive been bringing Itsy Bitsy everywhere with me, Ive never been so attached before. I’ve been putting her in my bag like everyday. Well I just grabbed her leg and I noticed a hole on the top. Im panicked so I check the rest and all four on the same side have a little hole in the same place. I feel so bad, I’ll have to take her to get fixed. In the meantime I have to be careful and it’s gonna be hard not taking her out with me. Im gonna have to get her little bandage wraps omg I feel so bad.
Hi, I’ve been a lurker for a while and I love seeing everyone’s ESSA, it’s made me feel better as an adult who suffers with anxiety and has a collection of plushies (all are precious to me and make me feel a million times better), especially with how kind/welcoming the community appears to be
Before I ask my question I’ll provide some context:
As well as being diagnosed with anxiety, I have AuDhd + Depression and have been severely bullied in the past (still traumatised by it) it gets to the point where all of these still remain and I dislike going outside alone
Today, I got invited to go to the movies with some lovely people who I consider some friends, but I declined cause I immediately felt uneasy/terrified, even to the point where I currently feel like crying right now just because of this as I wanted to go to this event but was also terrified
Anyway, I was curious if it’d help if I got an ESSA, I’ve always wanted to take some of my plushies with me but always panicked about losing them as they are precious to me + am afraid of getting harassed + judged but I wondered if getting an ESSA to take with me to certain places would help, so I thought I’d ask here, has anyone with similar experiences or has an ESSA have any advice/experience? Would you recommend it?
Even if it’s things like correcting me over things like terminology or letting me know whether this post is ok or not will help a lot, no matter how small or ‘silly’ it may be, I also don’t mind if you also comment for the sake of asking me a question or to elaborate

I have requirements to find the ‘perfect plush’ but I’m not sure which Douglas would be best and I live in the uk so I can’t just go to a shop and have a look
I know essas don’t need to be Douglas but I do really want one as I love how they look !! They’re popular for a reason
