FYI If you (like me) listen to the Eagles on Apple Music and were disappointed by the new One of These Nights remasters that were nondescriptly substituted in for the original masters on the non-deluxe (original) album, just turn off Dolby Atmos in your iPhone settings (under Music) and you'll be able to listen to the original masters.
Earlier this evening I had the amazing opportunity to see the Eagles for the first time as part of an early birthday gift. It was truly an amazing time. They put on an incredible show, and the sound, mixing, production and music was superb. I’m still in shock and stardom from seeing them!
What time have the Eagles been taking the stage? Going tomorrow in Arlington and hoping to pass on Tedeschi Trucks.
I’m attending the Eagles concert this saturday, and before u say, I already know hitting it in the stands would get me in trouble, i plan to utilize the bathroom. I have little metal bits on my outfit (and one shoe) so i was planning on either putting it in my sock under my arch (high arches). or possibly in my waistband behind my belt buckle. Can anyone speak from experience? Im from houston, so Im not super familiar with everything over in arlington. any and all tips are appreciated 👍🏼
Does anyone know what the on sale prices were like when Ticketmaster opened? Non-platinum, non-package seats.
I got a pair of tickets for my family in the front row of the 400s for $250 per for September and trying to see how I did. (secondary market, but got the tickets delivered quick).
Bought the digital download of the OOTN remaster (mostly to get the live set) and IMO, they butchered the hell out of Take It To The Limit. To my ears, the counter melodies are moved forward/amplified enough to almost overpower Randy's vocal. In the back third, the chorus is jacked up enough that Randy sounds like he's almost in another room in places. Overall, the balance between the vocals just seems off (and, in my mind, I've always thought remastering was supposed to fix issues like that, not enhance them)…
Again, that's what my ears are hearing. But my ears aren't quite as sharp as they once were, so I'm curious if anyone else is hearing it that way too…
Life’s been good, and I’d like to take it easy. But while I want to take it to the limit, I’m thinking my odds of buying Sphere tickets at face value are low in the long run.
Anyone having login issues for the ticket drop today?
In light of the recent "embarrassing" release of One Of These Nights and the widespread fan discontent with the recent decisions regarding these masters, I will begin sharing early albums masters.
Starting with their debut, featuring gems like Train Leaves Here This Morning, Witchy Woman, Peaceful Easy Feeling (and obviously Take It Easy), this is a chance for us to appreciate songs that at the time (in my opinion) went unnoticed due to the aforementioned hits like Most Of Us Are Sad, Earlybird, Nightingale and the rest, which are simply excellent.
Now, let's talk about what matters most about this CD: its sound. It features Barry Diament's early mastering, which, as you know, preserves its dynamics, has no distortion, and all the qualities we loved about the first CD releases. What I mean by "corrected" is that this mastering has errors from the start, with the speed of the songs and the pitch... I almost forgot to mention that it also has the channels reversed.
All errors have been corrected by referencing the vinyl versions and the Greatest Hits CD, where I was able to confirm that the songs should play at faster speed. For more information, visit https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/diament-eagles-masterings-eac-levels.190462/page-3
Enjoy it and let me know your opinion in the comments.
Important: For more information on how this CD was fixed, read the text file in the folder.

I plan to buy tickets for one of the new dates in November, tomorrow morning during the presale. Some questions:
I understand if these shows might be a different experience, considering that they've already had dozens of shows, but I'd like to get a general idea of what to expect. I'm hoping to get 2 tickets in the 200s or 300s sections for my mom.
Update: After 30 minutes of nonstop errors since the Waiting Room opened at 9:45 (on-sale time was 10am), I got into two queues at 144k and 220k in line (at around 10:15am.) Maybe 45 mins minutes later (11am,) I started getting into seat selection. Ended up getting Sect. 308, Row 2 for $402 (Official Platinum) and $526 (Eagles Hot Ticket Package) before fees, $1,193 after fees. Time of sale: 11:08am (68 mins after planned on-sale.) They are side-by-side, but different pricing tiers.
I just bought 2 tickets for the Arlington concert, section D row 8. It says they are “Gold Ticket Package”. Apparently it comes with extra merchandise at the show. Also they mail something after the show. Anyone have experience with this package? What do we get?
On StubHub it didn’t say anything about the package when I bought them. Apparently the starting price was $2,500 per ticket. I paid $1,300 for 2 tickets though.
Alright, so I’ve done something like this with The Highwaymen and seeing what a current day lineup what look like for them. I wanted to try and see what a modern day lineup for The Eagles would look like for y’all and suggestions for who could be members?
All of this discussion is in good fun due to The Eagles claiming they are finishing touring at the end of the year (I won’t hold my breath).
So far I’ve only thought of Derek Trucks and Billy Strings as 2 good ones. Not sure about bass, drums or any other member (6th member?). Let me hear your thoughts, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Realized the Eagles are playing the weekend I’ll be in Ft. Worth, so grabbed two tickets. Not familiar with the venue/area at all (coming from TN), so a few questions
- do we need to purchase parking beforehand?
- is the venue interesting enough to warrant arriving early when parking opens? I’m comparing it to the Battery in Atlanta next to Truist park, where there are tons of restaurants and shops….similar or is it just the stadium?
- will people arrive early and tailgate at all? We’ve done that for concerts before - loaded up a cooler and snacks - and can be a fun way to meet people and get excited for the show.
Any other tips?
Thank you!!
My son and I are going to The Eagles concert tonight in Nashville. There is an opener we have never heard of. What time have The Eagles actually taken the stage in their last few shows?
We are getting something to eat and the restaurant is slow.
