Zamna At Pyramids in 2027

Does anyone know if Zamna will be doing the Pyramid show again in 2027? Planning a large trip from the states and would love to plan it around Zamna, but dont know when it specifically is beyond my current guess of April 24th weekend

Scandal - Deep House Bible (DHB) - North Coast, Egypt - Aug, 6th 2026

This might piss off some people in the scene, but what happened at the Deep House Bible (deephousebible) event on the North Coast was completely unacceptable, and the silence afterward is somehow making it worse.

We bought tickets for a lineup featuring Ahmed Spins (ahmedspins) b2b Maz (mazmusic), Seth Troxler (stroxler), Brunello (brunello_mellowcircus) and Gawdat (gawdat.official). For most of the night, the event was fine. There were some occasional sound drops, production issues and the usual drunk fights you sometimes get at large events, but nothing that made us think the night was about to turn into something genuinely dangerous.

Then, sometime around Ahmed Spins’ set toward the end, something very strange happened.

All of a sudden, there was a huge wave of people running away from the stage. At first, we had absolutely no idea what was happening. Then we noticed that everyone was coughing, struggling to breathe and panicking. It took our group a few seconds to realize that what we were experiencing felt like tear gas or some other kind of airborne irritant.

A massive crowd started rushing away from the area trying to find clean air. We saw women becoming overwhelmed, with some apparently passing out or struggling badly to breathe.

The scary part was that there was no obvious cloud telling everyone where the affected area was. You basically realized something was wrong after breathing it in, and then everyone around you was trying to figure out which direction to move while hundreds of other people were doing exactly the same thing. In a packed event, that situation can become dangerous very quickly even before you consider whatever was in the air.

But somehow, through all of this, the music just kept playing as if nothing had happened.

That is the part I still cannot wrap my head around.

Hundreds of people suddenly running away from the stage, coughing and struggling to breathe, should probably be the point where somebody thinks, maybe we should stop the party for a minute and figure out what the fuck is happening. Instead, from where we were standing, it felt like the priority was simply to keep the event going.

And until now, nobody seems interested in properly explaining what happened.

I also find it extremely hard to believe that something like this simply appears inside a heavily secured event without anyone responsible knowing anything about it. I am not claiming to know exactly what the substance was or who caused it, but somebody needs to explain what entered the crowd, how it got there and why the event continued while people were running away and struggling to breathe.

This was not somebody dropping a drink.

This was not a speaker cutting out.

This was not some minor production fuck-up that everyone forgets about the next morning.

A large crowd of paying attendees suddenly started running away from the stage coughing and struggling to breathe, and somehow the people responsible for running the event still have not given them a proper explanation.

And this is where I think nobody involved gets to wash their hands of it.

Deep House Bible (deephousebible) was the event brand. Other Experience (other.exp) was listed as the organizer. Kyma Beach SouthMED (kymabeachsouthmed) was the venue, and Tellr Experience (tellrexperience) was the ticketing platform. I do not know which company was directly responsible for security, crowd management or the decision to keep the music playing, and that is exactly why the parties involved need to explain what happened.

Maybe responsibility ultimately falls more heavily on one party than another, but that is for them to clarify. You cannot all happily participate in promoting the event, selling the tickets, hosting the party and bringing thousands of people into one place, then suddenly become complete strangers when something serious happens.

At some point in that chain, somebody knew what was happening.

At some point, somebody made the decision to continue.

And afterward, everybody apparently decided silence was the best strategy.

What makes this even worse is what attendees say started happening on Instagram afterward. People began commenting about the incident, and some say their comments were deleted or their accounts were blocked. I cannot personally confirm every case, so if this happened to you, post the screenshots.

If that is how this is being handled, that is honestly pathetic.

If there is a reasonable explanation, explain it.

If somebody fucked up, admit it.

If somebody made a terrible decision, say what happened and tell people what is being done so it never happens again.

But deleting comments and blocking people asking questions does not make an incident disappear. It just makes it look like you are more interested in protecting the Instagram page than the people who bought tickets to your event.

Egypt’s electronic music scene wants international DJs, international branding, huge venues, premium table prices and increasingly expensive tickets.

Great.

Then maybe we should start expecting international-level accountability too.

You cannot charge people premium prices, put on a huge international lineup and market yourself like a world-class event, then have a crowd exposed to something that sends people running away coughing, keep the DJ playing through it and act afterward like nobody deserves an explanation.

And this should matter to everyone who goes out here, not just the people who attended that particular night.

Because once promoters learn that they can get away with something serious simply by waiting a few days, deleting comments and posting the next party flyer, what exactly is the incentive to do better?

So until Deep House Bible, Kyma Beach SouthMED, Other Experience and Tellr Experience acknowledge what happened and explain what they know, I genuinely think people should think twice before attending events connected to them.

Not because every incident needs a witch hunt.

Not because anyone wants to destroy somebody’s business.

But there has to be a minimum standard.

If you want our money, you owe us basic safety. And if something goes seriously wrong, you owe us an explanation.

The rave scene cannot become a place where organizers think they can just keep the music playing until everybody forgets.

People were there.

People experienced it.

People are talking about it.

Deleting comments does not erase that.

If anyone involved wants to publicly explain exactly what happened that night, I would genuinely like to hear their side, and I will update this post with their response.

Until then, the silence is part of the story.
