I hope that if Guts & Blackpowder ever becomes a standalone game, it'll have musket animations like this.
Cilp is from war of rights game , and an musket is charleville 1766

Y algunas configuraciónes que tuvieron que hacer para mejorarlo
After playing almost every TW, I can say that the Empire is the most ambitious game in the franchise. Being able to fight in multiple theaters of war is what makes this game the most special. I also believe that the sandbox wise, the game also offers the most as there is no limit for what you can do with every nation. You can also have completely different campaigns even with the same nation, just take a look at these scenarios.
Just imagine other scenarios with nations such as Prussia, The Great Britain, France, Russia and others. In addition to this, I also believe that Empire has the best technology tree in the franchise. The armies you have at your disposal and you fight against at the beginning of campaign will not be the same with ones you will have late campaign.
- Your cavalry regiments will be replaced by Dragoons/Light Dragoons/Heavy Curassiers
- Your fixed artillery will be replaced by howitzers with quicklime shots
- Your foot artillery will have a shrapnel shot capability to shred enemy infantry into pieces.
- Your early game skirmishers will be replaced by light infantry mid game, which will be replaced by riflemen late game.
- Your irregular infantry will be replaced by a more disciplined line infantry that can fight in square formations.
More you play the game, more love it. Despite the flaws everyone knows such as braindead AI, broken diplomacy, and terrible siege battles, the game offers more to get you going, and I am saying these as someone who has been playing the vanilla game.
I also believe that the game was too early to develop for CA. This is the game that they developed right after the Medieval 2, however, I also understand the urge and determination of the good old CA to develop game that takes place in 18th century. To be honest, I was a little bit frustrated that CA announced Medieval 3 before Empire 2, but I also understand the reason why they did that as it was the safest route to success for CA to get on good terms with historical TW fans. Despite this, I have got my hopes high for the upcoming entry to be the Empire 2.
Any play through ideas you've guys done to change things up?
I've tried:
Republican Greece then recreating Alexander's Empire
Prussia, uniting the HRE and Habsburg domains
Russia and annexing mainland Europe
Crimean Khanate and taking all the lands owned by the Mongol Empire (so basically chunks of Russia, the Ottomans, the Caucuses, and Persia)
Haven't really tried playing tall and with ships so might give that a run. Anw if guys have funny/fun ideas, share pls
I can't pull anymore troops away from my regions in Canada due to the Iroquois wanting to revolt so I can only use this army. Can I win this????
All gas no brakes
So what actually affects dueling , whether it will be a pistol duel or a sword duel? is it just random??
Recently played the game again on PC (on highest difficulty both campaign and battle), what is kind of frustrating is that every border you have with a faction that is not you ally will declare war on you (regardless of other treaties). Did they make diplomacy at least a bit more logical and robust on mobile?
Playing through Shogun 2 after a long time, got me interested in playing some of the older total wars. I used to use Darthmod years ago, is it still considered the best mod or is the consensus slanted to PUA now?
I think these numbers refer to prosperity but tbh, I don’t understand the different numbers and whether the colour of the number means anything. Can someone shed light on this.
Edit:
So I think the number refers to prosperity/how good it is.
The colour refers to the type of building it is. - green is growth (farms), orange is productivity/cash (mines), red is education/research/administration (schools)
The squares refer to the tier of building it is, if it’s greyed out that means you can build.
They should port this game to PlayStation 5, honestly the PS4 more notably the Pro. CK3 and Age of Empires proves it. CK3 with the diplo and management part. With Age of Empires being the Battle thesis part. I could go deeper into it, as a tdlr. They should add, honesty in total war games but id only play Empire of medieval if it’s raining outside. I almost forgot the last part, the games on the damn smart phone, if a pc and phone can share a game, a console can. it’s not vice versa tho, it shows a massive market in console gaming that some how got crusader king 3 on it to shows a total lack of ownership of sega of what ever fags run this shit. i pray to Christ they wake up.
ps admins add a Console flair. I can’t right now.
ps, also to management. Stop making fanatical shit. Like you wokiezed the Egyptian and Greek historie. just make none fake shit. Mythology is cool, but it’s mythical. It’s simple, and many old people who used to play and sold there pc/console for weed, can’t anymore. unless a phone, but God damit((sorry lord, praise Jesus)) that wickness of playing it on a damn phone. The arthritis. the illness. Also I am aware i contradicted myself spouting, ie “ many old people who used to play… pc/console”. But I now have a ps5. So id buy it, and I know if it had multiplayer I could personally get a couple dozen people to buy it on a whim.
ps to all sorry for the long ass ps. Also I’m high so this may not be coherent whatsoever.
I was Today Years Old when I accidentally discovered that I can set waypoints for units during battle by holding shift and keep clicking. I've been playing Total War for almost 20 years. It makes it so much more enjoyable for when I want to make more historic maneuvers, walk columns along roads, etc. Plus it hugely reduces my micro management. I can't queue it to charge, but since when is Empire perfect?
