Anyone else have a good experience with Safeway Moving Inc.?

I recently moved from a one bedroom apartment to another state and ended up using Safeway Moving Inc. after getting quotes from a few different companies. I was honestly expecting the process to be stressful, but it went better than I thought.

The movers arrived on time, handled my furniture carefully, and everything was delivered without any major issues. The final price was very close to the estimate, which was something I was worried about before booking.

I am curious if anyone else here has used Safeway Moving Inc. recently. How was your experience? Would you use them again?

Uncomfortable Americans keep looking to comfortable Canada

Royal LePage study show sky-high interest among Americans in moving to Canada.

Visits surged as high as 80,000 per week in early May 2025, and have largely remained elevated since 2025 with spikes of interest after certain events like the outbreak of war in Iran.

“It likely reflects that there are a lot of unhappy people there,” says Phil Soper, president and chief executive officer of Royal LePage.

“When people are unhappy, they start thinking big thoughts.” Among those big ideas is moving away from the U.S., and Canada is a natural first choice given our proximity and many similarities in language and culture, he adds.

Books or sites with practical info on moving abroad from the US?

My niece is looking to leave the US. I know about the rules for moving to The Netherlands, but not to other countries (she is considering New Zealand or Scotland.) Are there any good books or sites on getting visas or the rules for various countries, not just one specific country? I found a few resources below that I sent her, but maybe other people have tips. I am looking for info on visas and how easy it is to move to different countries. A lot of countries have golden visas for wealthy people, but what are the options for someone in their 20's with no assets?
