It took about 12hours in total to have money back on my bank card.
Just thought I would contrast all the doom and gloom posts here.
I also use IBKR btw, and getting money in and out of there is more complicated compared to etoro. I love the card option.

On 22, 23, 24, 25, 27 of April I have made several withdrawals. From all of these withdrawals only ONE has reached my bank account.
On the date of 29.04.2026 I have reached out to etoro support asking for assistance and pointing out that there might be an issue within their system because out of 2 withdrawals made in the same day, I have received only one.
Today's update :
Today's I was waiting for a reply on my ticket where I have asked for an update yesterday.
The ticket has not received a reply to my request.
This is the second day in a row when I am asking for an update and my request is ignored.
This is the 17th day on waiting for either an update on my situation or for a resolution (the resolution would obviously be to get my money)
Today I have been contacted by the reddit etoro team which promised that they will reach out to the adequate team in order to provide mw with an update on my situation.
I DID NOT receive any update or reply. I have reached out on the ticket hours ago, once again in order to ask for any update on my situation and that was successfully IGNORED.
At the moment I have requested multiple updates on my situation and all of my requests have been ignored.
I will keep updating this so everyone should be aware that when you have an issue with etoro, they will not hurry to assist you. They will ignore you, some of them might even get angry at you for reaching out to them (example is their agent named Daniela who almost scolded me for reaching out to her on live support asking for updates).
Until the present moment I am kept in the dark. I do not know what is happening with my money and no one is answering my requests.
For anyone wondering : no this is not a fresh account, and yes i have multiple successful withdrawals .
Ordered my debit card on May 1st, didn't receive it by now. Account Manager ghosting me. Anyone has some experience with this incentive card or similar experience not receiving it?

On the date of 29.04.2026 I have reached out to etoro support asking for assistance and pointing out that there might be an issue within their system because out of 2 withdrawals made in the same day, I have received only one.
I was informed that all of the withdrawals are within their time limit and that I should reach out to them after the time limit of 10 days has passed.
Said and done, after 10 days I was back asking for updates on my withdrawals. At that moment I was informed that the withdrawals can take up to 15 days to be processed.
5 more days have passed. Yesterday when I have reached out to them I was informed that their investigation has a time limit until 29 MAY to provide an update.
Can you even imagine this?
After 3 weeks of not assisting me in any way and not helping me in recovering my money they said that I should wait 2 more weeks for a potential update. Mind they said UPDATE and did not even mention about an actual resolution that would imply me getting my money back.
Until now etoro has failed in multiple scenarios :
- They can not keep up with their own timings. First the app said a 10 day withdrawal time. Then the support agent said 15 days. And now those 15 days have passed.
- Then they said that they might provide me an update on 29 MAY. Nothing about returning my money.
- Another of their agents which is called a "supervisor" said that they can not be held accountable if the money are lost on the way to my account. This is where started to think that they have actually lost my money and just told me it's not their fault and to move on basically.
- I have asked for updates on the ticket since Last week and I only got some documents yesterday after I HAVE REACHED OUT TO SUPPORT ON LIVE CHAT. otherwise i wouldnt even have gotten those documents.
- I also think that their reddit team is here only to try and maintain a good image for them as they have quite a few issues. They will ask your username and ticket number, they try to look concerned for us to think they are actually working on it. But in reality i have never seen any improvement on the ticket communication despite reaching out to them 2-3 times. I was ignored when asking for updates even though they have promised they will reach out to the support team to provide me updates. Nothing has changed in reality.
-Today no one on their side has reached out to me. We should be well over the time limit but i did not get any communication from them.
-Looking at other posts here and observing the way they do things, I think that the only reason they did not block me is because i still have a few thousands in their platform.
I will be back on day 17 with more updates on how they have successfully ignored all my emails.
I just opened my account at eToro, I made an inmediate transfer of £10000.00 then another £1000.00 but the money has not appeared in my eToro wallet yet. The payment gateway encountered an error at the end of the process. However, the money has disappeared from my bank account. I don't know if this is normal or I am getting scammed, I have tried talking to an agent at the chat but only get to talk with AI. I have also opened a ticket 09091962. Help please.
This is why I just can't trust Etoro.
I need to close my position on a very liquid asset, NSDQ100. I clicked the button on 18:26. It's now more than 15 min and my position still are not closed.

I have a buy position (24/5), now I want to cancel it.
The cancel order has been received, now showing pending. It just does not execute and at the same time I could not cancel it.
So the market has moved to another state and I could not do anything with my account.
What should I do here?
Just watched the account tick over $3.6M this morning. Up 52% YTD, with $1.23M in net profit. After blowing up my account years ago and grinding my way back from zero, I finally hit the exact number I needed to walk away.

This PnL is built on stacking 10% swing trades. I stopped chasing the next big thing and focused entirely on the downside. I don’t use fixed stops; I just exit the second the institutional order flow breaks. If the big money bids disappear, I’m gone. My losses are so small they barely even register on the chart.
No indicators, no noise. Just volume profile, tape reading, and following the money.
It’s been a hell of a ride, but I’ve got a new house to sort out. Plus, I won't have to deal with my wife being upset anymore because I spent all day staring at candles instead of being there for her. Taking my chips and going home. Good luck out there.

From this day on I will make daily posts to keep you updated on how etoro manages their customer issues. Below I will add as many details as possible so everybody is aware of their deplorable customer service.
Also I consider very important that everyone must know that their MONEY IS AT RISK. No matter what etoro representatives told me. The money is at risk of being lost after so many time has passed without a proper answer or help being received.
I have the following withdrawals made :
On 22, 23, 24, 25, 27 of April I have made several withdrawals. From all of these withdrawals only ONE has reached my bank account.
On the date of 29.04.2026 I have reached out to etoro support asking for assistance and highlighting that their systems might have some issues since only ONE of my withdrawals has reached my bank account and from that day on, I talk to them almost daily asking for some updates without receiving any real help and not even a proper update.
I have provided all the documents that etoro has requested
I had DAYS without anyone replying to my tickets while I was asking for updates.
Their agent Daniela is one of the worst agents they have, I really wonder how they keep her. She was almost angry because I have reached out to ask for updates. Imagine the audacity.
I can also share my discussion with her to show how a support agent SHOULD NOT behave.
One of their support members, Claudia told me the following thing :
"We understand these funds are important to you, and we will notify you as soon as we receive an update. It may take up to 15 business days for our payment providers to process your payment."
Okay, this is the 15th day and naturally I have reached out to etoro customer support.
Today, after 15 days have passed I was told the following :
"Regarding your query, the trace of funds have been initiated on the 7th of May, 2026 and the time frame to receive a response is 15 business days, which excludes weekends and public holidays. As such, the last day when we can expect updates is the 29th of May"
So basically they told me that after A MONTH I will PROBABLY get an update on the date of 29th. They did not say anything about about providing the actual resolution.
So what should the next steps be? wait until 29th May to PROBABLY get on update about my money. This is what they told me and I am not sure they realize how this sounds.
Quick recap :
- Multiple withdrwals made on 22-23-24-25-27
- Only one received on 23 APRIL. Since then NOTHING.
- Multiple tickets opened without any update or real step taken te recover my funds
- Trace of funds opened without any resolution time. probably an mere update on 29th May a whole MONTH after my withdrawal.
- They said it will take up to 15 days for the funds to be processed and those days have passed and they only told me to wait until 29th May to probably get that update.
- I have now waited several weeks and asked for numerous updates. The answers that I got I that I will probably get an update on 29th May.
Has anyone ever went through this?

First of all, I've had an eToro account since 2020 and this was the first time this has happened to me. Something very strange happened last Thrusday and now I don't trust the application because they don't want to admit the problem.
I'll explain:
First, I invested in NSDQ100 with using 20x leverage and it was around 28550-28560 but it took off at a much higher value, 28581 which is not normal. This was the first problem, but since sometimes there is high volatily it could be possible. I assumed it was just bad luck. They then sent me the correct data and confirmed the NASDAQ was 28562 at that precise second (5:59:30PM (GMT+1) on May 7th. So this was the first problem with the app.
The second problem was when I withdrew the funds. I placed a stop-profit of 28586, but it erroneously assumed the value of 28556 at 6:10:29PM (GMT+1) on May 7th so I lost money. As they can see, this was clearly a bug in the eToro system. They have all this information in their system. They sent me their information and I confirmed that at this precise moment the NASDAQ value was 28586 and not 28556 as the application incorrectly assumed.
This all happened on the desktop application, not the smartphone app, by the way.
All of this made me lose $650 (I'm European but I use dollars). Problems can happen, nothing is infallible, but what's really strange and made me angry and disappointed is that they don't want to admit this problem. Therefore, their information says I'm right, but they came up with a nonsensical explanation for what happened.
What would you do? After years on eToro and almost €100,000 invested there, this is surreal.

I places an order for CBRS before market open when share price was $185. the order was never fulfilled and now share price is $328. almost 78 percent return lost because etoro didn’t execute the order…
This might be a basic question, but I’m still a bit unclear on how ownership works on etoro. I’ve seen people mention that sometimes you’re buying the real asset, and other times it’s something like a CFD depending on the trade, but I’m not fully sure how to tell the difference when placing a trade.
Is it based on leverage? asset type? region?
Also in practical terms, does it change anything for long term holding, dividends, or anything else I should be aware of?

I’ve read that etoro is an Israeli organisation, whose founders are from Israel and still control a significant stake in the business. I’ve also read that one of the major shareholders is an Israeli fund controlled by Eli Barkat, brother of Nir Barkat, current right hand of Netanyahu.
Can someone confirm the above? Apparently lots of people are moving their investments from etoro to other exchanges. If so, I am def taking my money out of etoro
The ISA is in GBP, and copying seems to demand USD? is there a way around this? any help would be appreciated
I referred a friend last month and we both received the $30 bonus. My friend made a withdrawal after using the account for a couple weeks which triggered mine to be SHUT DOWN. It’s in their terms of services that you can’t withdraw the first month. But why should my account (and money) be taken away because my friend decided to? That seems criminal. And their support is a joke.
I was trading gold, and an extrI've realized that eToro has a lot of fees which can make day trading CFDs profitably become hard.
E.g. Open sell on Gold:

My take
Maintain eToro for long term investing(1-3 years) or beginner trading, not for trading CFDs.
I’ve been using etoro in a pretty low key way so far, nothing too active, just holding a few positions and experimenting a bit.
Lately I’ve been thinking more long term, and it made me wonder how costs actually play out over time. Not just one trade, but across months of holding occasional rebalancing, maybe some FX involved.
It’s not super obvious upfront what the all in impact looks like unless you really track it closely. For people who’ve been on the platform a while did anything surprise you cost wise after a few months? Or does it stay pretty predictable once you understand the basics?
Haven’t had any major issues so far on etoro, but I realized I’ve never really had to contact support either. When something does go wrong, account issue, verification, transaction confusion, etc, how responsive are they in practice?
I’ve seen mixed comments here, but it’s hard to tell what’s typical vs edge cases.
For those who’ve had to reach out, was it resolved fairly smoothly, or did it take a lot of follow ups? Not dealing with anything urgent right now, just want to understand the experience before I rely on it more heavily.
Etoro seems to have imposed an 80 pip spread on Gold between real market prices and eToro prices.
Market is normal I don't see why this, is their liquidity thin or is this to make sure we don't make our full gain from the market.

Market has now moved to 4718 and eToro has me at 4709. Mind you, on entry, the price was accurate on ICMarkets 4461 both.
