what’s your ideal pick order for your evelynn games?

my reasoning is because as a eve main, if i pick evelynn first or top, i feel like im throwing as im letting the enemy team pick a tanky jgl or someone like briar.

my masters friend says that being counter picked in jgl doesn’t really matter because you can just avoid your opponent, i have no doubts he’s correct but i worry about my farm and objectives being taken due to my inability to duel the other player

in my opinion as someone who’s bronze and not even level 100 yet, ( so my opinion is probably wrong due to being new. feel free to correct me) if your losing mid / bot, you can just get ganks which will save your game, but if top is counter picked the game is essentially over if they pick garen darius anyone who is extremely strong once fed.

i also think that i like to pick last with top due to the fact that top has TP, therefore if bot or mid is losing persay they have the lvl 6 TP.

let me know! id love to hear higher elos opinions, also because im learning support is a extremely powerful role

I try to gank from behind but a lot of times I explode cause I underestimate the damage of the laner or it feels like my laner is waiting for me to engage first before doing anything , and sometimes when it’s a 1v1 I try to soft engage without W first but my damage tickles them that they start chasing and I inevitably die . Like how to fix all that ?
