Hey, I’m an Ark Veteran (5k hours) who quit ASE right as Genesis Part 1 launched because of irl stuff. I loved the lore and closely followed everything having played the island to Extinction. I want to go back through all the story maps, especially since I heard an ending was also finally added to scorched earth, but wasn’t sure which “version” was better, or if ASA maybe deviates from the original story?

Would it be better to stick with the original ASE, then move to ASA after (if at all), or is ASA just better all around in telling the same story?

I already own both games & dlc’s so purchasing wouldn’t be a factor, and I have an SSD, RTX 3080, and 32GB of ram, so i’m assuming both should run fine.

Any recommendations for non lore reasons are also welcome, I watched a YouTube video comparison before this so I know broad strokes but nothing specific between the two.
