Exhaust recommendation?

I currently have a 2017 g30 540i with a downpipe and mhd tune. The exhaust itself is stock and I was considering getting a valved alibaba exhaust thats pretty much a straight pipe with true dual exits (with quad tips). Would this make a huge difference and if you have done the same thing could you message me your before and afters?
I want to upgrade my 2026 Tundra exhaust sound. I know it’s a matter of opinion but what is the groups recommendation?
The idea is to install the component in pic 2, right before the muffler and then weld in additional piping to divert the exhaust to one of the factory dual exhaust tips. First pic shows where the kit would fit within the factory exhaust system in red.
Would really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Cheers
Hi guys I just purchased my 2024 mustang gt w active exhaust and I wanna keep the function but I also want to add sound and speed I’ve been doing research and I’m looking into a h pipe because I like that deep sound more than the raspiness . Are removing cats actually as bad as people say? Should I look into getting a full cat back or is there a cheaper alternative where I still get the sound I want? Should I go for cold air intake and oil cooler because it does run kind of hotter than expected when pushing it. Anything would help I’m kind of new to mustangs I have a decent budget but don’t wanna spend too much money the first couple months of owning haha.. I have the 60k power train warranty also so I don’t wanna void that
Hi all,
I got an rs3 8v 2019 OPF with the oem rs exhaust.
I already installed the asr cb2 which improved greatly the sound by keeping the valves open.
Debating upgrading the catback with a BTM Turbo. Anybody got any experience with this one? How is the sound improved?
I particularly like the fact that it is a symmetrical setup, not really for practical reasons but more due to OCD haha
Thanks in advance
Hello everyone,
I recently found out that I need to replace my exhaust manifold (part #18000-PND-000), but I’ve also learned that Honda has discontinued it.
I’ve called several junkyards without any luck, and the shop I took my car to said that if I can’t find the part, I should probably start looking for another car. This is my first car, and it means a lot to me, so I’m really hoping I don’t have to give up on it.
I’m not very car-savvy, so I’m feeling pretty lost. I found an aftermarket exhaust manifold on Parts Geek, but I have no idea if it’s a reputable site or whether the part will actually fit my car.
Someone also suggested just “straight piping” it, but I don’t really know what that means or whether it’s a good idea.
Has anyone dealt with this before or have any advice on what my best options are? I’d really appreciate any guidance, recommendations, or experience you can share. Thank you!
2014 3.7 VQVHR tuned on Ecutek by Z1. Motordyne Shockwave Catback, Motordyne RFL "Zinger" Resonated test pipes, Takeda Stage 2 Intakes. Idling perfect for the 3.7 motor.
it has a 355 with a cam headers and a carb swap I want it to bring the chop out a little better and get rid of the clap when at higher rpm’s rn ik it’s bad but I didn’t do it but it has 2 inch exhaust pipe to some cheap ass glass packs also absolutely garbage welds on the pipe i kinda have been thinking about 2.5 inch exhaust and a x and h pipe all the way to the back what would y’all recommend
I have a 76 Elco mild cam and long tube headers, It had a Y pipe setup with a resonator that it had since the 90s. It was worn, tired, and sat for years. I am taking it off and installing side dumps, what would y'all recommend to show its low, grumbly, mean muscle car tone, but not too raspy like a straight pipe would be? This video was before the upgrades, and a untuned carb, best video I could get of the Y pipe sound... Not the best... Anything helps! Ty!
For my engine, high compression racing V2 motorcycle, with short large diameter pipes, why would you want an addition of backpressure in the form of a collector chamber in the bottom.
All of the expensive brand name seem to add a chamber of sorts while cheaper options seem to just be straight pipes.
Even the most expensive option featuring a true 2/ 1 /2 feature the chamber between the two lengths.
Other than than sound, when chasing peak hp, why Add it?
Hey guys.
I have an F33 2017 BMW 440i (convertible) with an exhaust I just recently ordered and I was just wondering if there was anyone here that can recommend me a reputable exhaust shop that wouldn’t overcharge for the install.
I personally live in Aventura area but commute to downtown daily so anywhere near either area would be preferred!
Thank you!
I wanted to ask for guidance as I am doing some research on this issue. I purchased a 1999 corvette with long tube headers, cat delete, x-pipe, and borla axle back pipes (without mufflers).
I like how aggressive the car sounds, but it’s just too much. I can’t drive it longer than about 15 minutes without getting a headache. Ultimately I would love to add in-line mufflers near the x-pipe or add aftermarket mufflers where the stock ones were.
I’m trying to be budget friendly but also not completely cheap out. They sell a kit that comes with mufflers for about $1100 that I could buy to replace the axle back tips, but I would prefer to go a cheaper route if possible.
I appreciate any advice!
I have a 2002 kawasaki vulcan nomad 1500 FI. The innermost piece of metal that seems to slip in is just freely rattling and causing a metal on metal noise when i ride. I can't pull them out freely but i can rotate it! Both external screws i can see seem to be holding the bracket around it in place but not the metal piece in the middle. What do I do?
I have a 2010 Audi Q5 3.2L V6 stock and I want to have a louder exhaust. I was thinking of getting a resonator and muffler delete. Any exhaust systems I would install like the AWE Tuning Q5 3.2L Non-Resonated Exhaust System are way out of my budget. I would also consider just getting a muffler delete but idrk. I don't care about highway drone as I am basically half deaf anyway and I turn up music so yeah. Plus I find drone like asmr. Any suggestions. I'm trying not to go over $800 though. I also would prefer if I jsut had a one and done solution because I don't want to go back and pay multiple times to redo (that's why I am asking).
Edit: I only got the car last year so I'm not looking to trade at all. Lucky enough to have parents that helped me buy the car and I rather not swap or get a different car over just the exhaust tbfr.
The cat back was the first thing I did with my exhaust, now I have 3” stainless pipe from headers bolted into the cat back. Now that I look at it, is this a poor exhaust job?? I honestly don’t know why they did it like this.
I’m hoping to replace the cat back with stainless and 3” piping as well. What differences if any would this make?
Louder? Deeper? More power because the larger piping?
Hey guys, I’m selling my new exhaust along with the UpMap t800 (never used before). Had a bad experience with Aprilia so I’m selling the parts I was going to install on the bike. Selling for $2,000.
Part number is A23-TC36C and comes with the instructions and stickers.
Currently in Texas but open to ship.
I just bought a new exhaust for my brz(13-21) , which is Remark sports touring (quad tips) but it turns out pretty ugly with that...
So i found a rear bumper from Tom's racing rear bumper "racing" which is also for 4 tips exhaust, but im not sure if it's compatibile with remark's exhaust...
I wonder if someone tried it before
So, I have a F56 Mini Cooper S. We bought it 1yr ago tuned and modded to hell. We just found out that it has a Remus exhaust and have tried to download the app and connect to it. Well, it’s not working, I’ve tried for hours trying random codes Because the previous owner connected and didn’t leave us a code or manual or anything. So it’s tied to previous owners phone. We’ve tried to do a reset but it needs a button one and ours is an older module. We have tried calling and emailing Remus but we can’t get a hold of the actual customer support, all numbers seem to be suppliers. So I need help with maybe the number of the Remus customer support or a resolution.
