long story short, mechanic replaced camshaft without me authorizing or telling me about it, now its doing this and has gotten worse over the past 15 miles. any clues as to what it could specifically be? this isnt the new smf either, that has its own grinding sound. i just need some clues so i know where to start digging

For backstory. I was driving normally yk occasionally starting in p0299 mode but usually only on a cold start. I was not in that mode at this time but I am coming to a stop I’ve downshifted to second and I put it in neutral to brake and when put in neutral it died as if I shut the key off. Rolling still and the light having turned green I tried to start it rolling and I couldn’t get it to start. Used what momentum I still had to roll to the side of the intersection. Couldn’t get a start. Here’s about a week or 2 later trying to start it. Could it be a timing issue or a crankshaft position sensor? I just bought a pd140 kit for it
Was driving and all of a sudden my brm just died when I put it in neutral. Would not start afterwards. Any ideas on what could have happened?
I’m looking for a good replacement for my mk5 Jetta steering wheel. It’s a 2006 tdi with no controls on the wheel and I don’t plan on running airbags. The original wheel has degraded and blows dust in my eyes and gets all over my hands. I’m wanting to do a mk4 but know the turn signal cancellation won’t work anymore so I gave that up. Any ideas?

Here i built the roblox suburban template starting house in bloxburg. i tried to be as accurate as possible with my own spin on a couple things.
i managed to fit a rabbit front bumper on a jetta after some crash bar trimming. it turned out pretty good just need to paint it. probably shave it. and get some inserts. let me know what you guys think!
