My 2011 TTSE crossed the 200k mile mark recently and I treated him to a paint correction. Still going very strong and I love it more than ever.
I got a laugh coming out of Costco to this. Hard enough even find parking lol...
I am installing a roof rack, and these are the brackets it came with. How would you recommend going about sealing this up? I'm leaning toward weatherstrip adhesive. LMK if you have better ideas.
I'm looking at buying an FJ in Australia soon and am curious about what would be considered high kms and worth avoiding when buying second hand.
I've usually tried to avoid anything over 200k kms in the past, but keep hearing that this isn't an issue with the FJ's.
Is this true? Is it worth considering some of the ones I'm finding around the 200 - 250k mark with good service history?

On fjco aluminum wheels with oem caps 255/95/16
Hidden modern door lock and unlock with a security system
Old man emu lift and leafs
And a ton of brand new oem parts like front bumper, mirrors, trim, and even brand new old stock warn hubs
I was at Divine Bovine burgers in Tucson, and the FJ who parked next to mine… and when we looked at each other and just said “This is the way”… you made me smile. :)
Finally got around to replacing these bad boys.

This was my first time doing spark plugs and it took about 1.5 hours. Quoted +/-500$ across different shops. I chose NGK Iridium Plug Number LFR6AIX-11 Spark Plug - 6619 for replacements.
What would cause this?
Been looking for an FJ for months now. This one stumped me. Lots of chips in the paint and discoloration around the hood intake scoop.
Would anything specific cause this other than rocks or debris? This discoloration is weird to me but I'm no expert.
For reference, it's a 2011 FJ with 180k miles.

Hi everyone, this is a 2007 FJ with 179,000 miles which I’ve owned for a year and a half. It gets regular oil changes every 5000 miles has had transmission and radiator flushes recently and has been babied and not off-roaded. Car was driving fine yesterday and on start up this morning, it made this sound. Any suggestions are appreciated.
This is a shot from the viewing cover of my tensioner.. is this too much? I’ve been getting a p0016 for the past couple of months. Going to change my vvt solenoids and pray.
Should I run away? This would be my 1st Fj. Is this rusted welding?
