Bando help needed

I found an epic spot near the sea but there are 4 gigantic dogs that usually either belong to the villages up in the hill or stray dogs. There are like 4 more of the structures in the image its pretty big but if i go up into the terrain they might attack me so I'm on the big rocks right now. What do i do how do i get in

Battery Recs

Anyone got any suggestions for 6S 1300 battery brands? I've previously used Ovonic and Tattu but want some other opinions and your guys' experiences (or am I thinking too much haha). Thanks in advance!

MK.II 3" officially HERE.

Frames were cut, TPU prints were designed, I believe it's ready for release! This is a 3" frame designed to be a sub 250g drone that can be a 2-4S platform.

First Build Help: Acro drift/bounce, Angle mode drifting backwards, and weird Accelerometer behavior after plugging in LiPo

Hey everyone,

I just finished my very first FPV build. It hovers fine, but I'm running into a few frustrating issues that I can't seem to figure out. I've uploaded two videos showing the behavior, including a side view of the quad to show its physical stance/tilt.

The Issues:

  1. Acro Mode: The drone experiences mid-air drift and has a noticeable "bouncing" or twitching effect. The direction of the drift is completely random—sometimes it slides forward, sometimes backward, or diagonally, seemingly at random while maintaining altitude.
  2. Angle Mode (2nd Video): As soon as I switch to Angle mode, the quad aggressively drifts backwards. It feels like the rear motors are pushing way harder to compensate for something.
  3. The Weird Accelerometer Behavior: In Betaflight (via USB), the accelerometer looks perfectly calibrated. However, if I plug in the LiPo, arm/disarm, unplug, and check Betaflight again, the accelerometer orientation gets completely messed up. If I disconnect everything and plug it back in only via USB, it looks normal again. Is this a known bug or hardware/noise issue?

What I've Checked:

  • Receiver tab in Betaflight looks completely fine and responsive.
  • I don't have this issue in simulators (Liftoff works perfectly with my radio).
  • Added a deadband in Betaflight just in case, but it didn't help.
  • No GPS is installed on this quad.

Specs:

  • FC/ESC Stack: Diatone Mamba F722 MK4 Mini + Reactor 65A ESC
  • Motors: T-Motor Velox 2306
  • Props: HQProp
  • Battery: CNHL 4S 1500mAh
  • VTX/Camera: Walksnail Avatar Digital HD Kit
  • Radio: RadioMaster GX12

Any advice on what to check next? Could electrical noise from the ESC be messing up the gyro/accelerometer when the LiPo is connected?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Why are my AOS Supernova motors getting hot?

Hi,
I have a 7-inch quad with AOS Supernova 2807 1400KV motors. The quad flies perfectly fine, but I noticed the motors get noticeably warm after a flight. They’re not too hot to touch, but they’re definitely warmer than I would expect.
I also have another 7-inch quad with a no-name stack and iFlight XING 2806.5 1300KV motors, and those don’t have this issue.
I tried changing various AM32 ESC settings (PWM frequency, timing, etc.), but nothing made a difference. I haven’t touched the Betaflight PIDs or any other tuning—everything is still stock.
What’s even stranger is that the motors heat up fairly quickly even without props when running them in the Betaflight Motors tab. I checked that the motor screws are not touching the windings, and the motors are practically new.
To rule out the rest of the setup, I installed my old iFlight XING 2806.5 1300KV motors on the exact same quad. They stayed cool, even during the same Betaflight motor test.
What could be causing this? Could it be the ESC, or does it sound more like an issue with the motors themselves?

Crank up your volume and feel the roar of the props!

Haha, I just realized during the final check that I put the props on wrong. I didn't install them in the correct diagonal positions!

AOS5 Fun

Built an AOS5 I had cut by cncdrones. Came out really nicely. I swear the orange in the vid is flowers, not oversaturated dead grass lol

  • AOS Supernova 2207 1980kv motors
  • Gemfan 51499 props
  • SpeedyBee f405v5 stack
  • XR4 RX

Flies amazing. Feel like I can put it exactly where I want in space and so much power coming from smaller quads. Really fun drone!
