Mickey Mouse garden

This was a labor of love. I originally had the set in my front yard as-is. The lawn people kept ignoring the area and I was afraid they’d destroy it. I searched and saw ideas for the container garden and also an idea for Mickey Mouse. So I started painting. I really do love it but I’m so happy I’m done. 😂

Tiny Handmade Sailing Ship Built from Simple Materials

I recently finished this miniature sailing ship and wanted to share it with the community. The model is completely handmade using inexpensive and easily available materials.

The hull and structure were built from wood, while the masts were made from toothpick sticks. The sails were made from fabric bags. And the rigging was created using household normal thread , door made through thick paper windows made from sticknote paper , barrels from toothpick.

The ship is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, but I tried to include as much detail as possible. This project was a fun challenge in miniature crafting and working with recycled materials.

No need for diy plastic kits .you can simple made from inexpensive simple items not even hobby grade.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas for future builds!

My first fairy garden. I didn’t have a good spot in the ground so I used our large landscaping rock.

Miniature Lakeside House in a Jar 🏡.

I recently finished this tiny fairy-garden-style scene inside a glass jar using mostly inexpensive and recycled materials.

Materials used:

House: made entirely from cardboard

Boat: handcrafted from wood

Tree: made from wire and sponge

Dock/platform: built using toothpicks and popsicle sticks

Water effect: colored resin/gel effect with small pebbles at the bottom

My goal was to create a peaceful little lakeside cottage while keeping the cost as low as possible. Most of the materials were things I already had at home.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, or ideas for improving future builds!

Fairy on Glass ball

Hey everyone. I feel really bad I broke my boyfriend’s sister childhood figurine and she’s taking it really hard. It looked like this but with a glass ball. I had tried to put it together but I couldn’t find all of the pieces so I just chucked it and forgot to tell her :( I don’t even remember where it was it was in a plastic bag and it was broken…

Any help would be appreciated

My First 1:64 Scale Fantasy Castle in a Jar – Looking for Feedback!

Hi everyone! This is my first fairy garden project. I handmade the castle completely from air-dry clay, and the water is made from clear epoxy resin.

I wanted to create a tiny magical island inside a jar using simple, inexpensive materials.

I'd really appreciate your honest feedback. What do you think of the concept? What could I improve to make it look more realistic or magical?

Thanks for taking a look!

Ourdoor fairy garden

So I've hit the nail on the head, with my little boy (4-year-old boy) I want to make a real fairy garden out of part of the small garden outside this summer. We've come this far, we have the village border, I've cleared the area, we've laid the village gate, we've marked the river's path and the waterfall is roughly there too, today we laid the first mushroom house. The blue stones have finally arrived, which I'll use to make the river, but first I want the waterfall, which is causing a headache as to what to use for it outdoors. I doubt the glue gun would last long, now I thought of construction silicone first. I made a living village, with real plants and the bridge and well are also made of natural materials, DIY. However, I have a laser cutter and engraver at home, I used that to make the mushroom house, I treated it with matte varnish, we'll see how long it lasts. I could make so many wonderful things with it, but I'm afraid that things made of plywood would quickly deteriorate outdoors. I'd be happy with any ideas on how to work outdoors so that it's permanent, and what plants are best for this.

It's coming along and I'm proud of it!

i had some leftover mulch and white stones so i used them to "level up" my fairy tree. i also had some extra blue stones from the dollar store and made a small river. i want to plant some flowers and make/buy more stuff for this. open to ideas!

Finally finished!

Handmade wood tray, “crystal” tree (twice), waterfall with tiny splash pool, sunken river and rope ladder to reimagined first fairy garden. (Last pic of hanging fairies above fairy gardens)

After this this labor of love of course the nerd in me has to name it and have little pithy character descriptions to tie the bow:

Welcome to Mossingham!

Below Highshroom Castle (batteries included):
Cave dwelling Grump looking down at Grogu who’s asking for a hug. The haphazard wizard, Doofus, accidentally turned this once nobleman into a wingless dragon hence his name. He also inadvertently repels invaders with fiery sneezes. He’s allergic to unicorn fur. Nobody in the kingdom stands in front of him. Except Grogu.

Singe peeks up behind his cave to see what he’s muttering about now.

The Four Knights of Highshroom Castle: Sir Lance-a-Lot the Steadfast. His band of misfits the source of stabbing headaches:

Sir Timberfaeld the Unready. Actually a woodcutter, not a knight, but no one confronts him. He and wizard Doofus discussing the dragon mishap.

Sir Loin the Well Marbled believes negotiation at a hearty meal is wiser and less physically stressful than battle.

Sir Render the Hesitant charges last in battle. Would rather be gardening. He’s chatting with a gnome gardener as we speak about Petunias.

Miss Chiff with her horned steed, Naughty, look up at Sir Loin for tossed scraps (he’s always snacking).

Below lies Earl Grey Hollow where a lonely Sasquatch keeps a “believe” sign next to his high tree house because nobody does. And he doesn’t drink tea.
Every gnome below is named Dinky. Every fairy named Sue.

I painted my fairy house

I was considering leaving in raw clay, but couldn't help making it colorful.
