Does anybody care about getting vibes?

I have 4 trees of birb friends! Every single day I send each one of them a good morning, hugs, and encouragement or strength and sometimes a gift! Now it sounds like a lot of work/time but i love doing it! Its one of my favorite things to do when i wake up! But recently i have been wondering if anybody really cares to get them. Im not saying this because i think it's a burden to send vibes i love doing so! But i do wonder if anybody really cares for vibes or just thinks they're annoying? When I get sent vibes, I feel appreciated and grateful! So does anybody really care about vibes? Or is it just something tedious and annoying to get?

Hey guys, support really appreciated tonight

Firstly sorry, my keyboard’s broken so I’m mostly relying on autocorrect and will put * next to any typos.
Secondly, TRIGGER WARNING - HEAVY TOOICS* - MENTAL HEALTH .
Thirdly, I don’t have the app anymore, but I had it for 2 years maybe up until a few months ago when I had to delete it due to storage issues. But I’ve come to love this community and anyone reading this would help more than you can imagine.

Now… here we go ig.
So I’m 15 and have struggled with SH for a year and a half. I’ve been clean for around 3 months, but I’ve kinda just switched from one thing to another: I’ve not been eating well, eg 1-2 meals a day during term time, and also I’ve been having a lot of SI. Not sure if I can type this out fully as it might get removed, so forgive me if some acronyms/descriptions are awkward to understand.

I’ve been feeling like I don’t want to be here for about 6 months, kind of on and off, but it’s got much worse in the last 3-4. I’ve had thoughts of SI basically at least twice a day, I’ve made hypothetical okans* like if I were to … then I’d do it like this, and I’ve also researched things like how many … does it take. I’m so tired of feeling like this.

To be completely honest, at this point the only reasons why I’m still here are because of my family/friends and due to inability to do the deed.

I’d also like to say in the nicest way possible that I’m not telling my parents about any of this, so atone advising me to tell them… sorry but no. Although they do know abt my SH and I went to therapy for a short period of time, and they’re really lovely, I hate talking to them about it. As far as they know I’m fine.

In terms of a trusted adult who I’d tell about something like this, there’s a teacher at school who I see for 15 mins every Friday, only now it’s the summer holidays. There’s a school councillor who I’ve also seen before, and should be again in September, but again - it’s the holidays.

I hate feeling this way. I’m scaring myself, and I feel so lonely and tired and scared and awful. Okease* help?

On vacation

Hello booty shakers! We're on a much-needed vacation for a bit. The Rave Cave is closed for now but will reopen very soon.

There is a Saturday all day disco in the Finchie sub that could use a little traffic. Check it out!

friendship levels

so we finally reached Soulmates level (340pts) with our bird baby. we thought this was level 9? we were only able to get 1 pt every 3 days despite doing all 3 qualifying actions daily that should have accrued 3 pts/day. regardless, when we go to Details on our profile it still says we are Twinzies level 8. app is updated to latest version for our device. app was restarted.

can anything be done to assist? nearly everytime we report to app support team, it glitches and fails to push through. so their email process isn't working for us. is there a web form to fillout as a workaround since email doesn't work? thanks all! 🌹

Audiobooks are real reading

I'm a school librarian and I'm here to tell you that there's only one correct answer to this question: "Yes."

If you don't believe me, you can take it up with Harvard University: Audiobooks don’t really count as reading? Think again.

Sure, you might not choose to "count" them towards your yearly reading goals (I'm not your mom!) or you retain information better if you read it in print (same, tbh) but this isn't really up for debate and I'm annoyed that the Finch team brought this up.

The Continuing Space Adventures of Kiwi 🚀

Tired from a long trip through the stars, Kiwi landed on a promising-looking planet for a picnic and found signs of life as she explored. A giant (and cozy looking nest), a giant footprint, what could it be?!

Audiobooks: Some science

This post is for anyone who chooses audiobooks. I don't want any of you feeling "less than" or othered by today's question. The research finds that our brains learn equally well whether it is by acquiring that information via our eyes or our ears. Here is a link to an article explaining this science: https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2026/03/audiobooks-dont-really-count-as-reading-think-again/

There are multiple accessibility reasons behind people *needing* to use audiobooks to counter the limitations of their diagnoses/disabilities. And sometimes, it's purely preference or a more efficient use of their time.

Reading rocks in all its formats. Kayo and I love it!! You do you. ✨️
