I was recently gifted a giant finch plushie which I adore! I'd love to be able to have a few outfits for him, has anyone who owns a giant finch plushie had success finding clothes that fit? I'd think that traditional plushie clothes wouldn't fit given the height and girth of this plushie, but the rotund nature of him and his short limbs also make me question whether 3-mo baby clothes would fit properly. Just curious if someone else has had success in this venture before I start experimentally buying things! 😄

Hola! 🙂 Últimamente cuando uso la aplicación de Finch (entro todos los días) y recibo vibes de mis amigos del árbol, ya no veo que se queden junto a mi bird, tanto cuando va caminando como cuando está en su casita. La aplicación dice "X is visiting", y yo veo lo que me envía pero ya no aparece de visita con mi bird (y que se les vea juntos). 🐦Hasta ahora así ocurría y hace días nada. A vosotros os pasa??

It hurt us to have to take the post down that was discussing another sub. But we had no choice.

Reddit has rules and standards that we as moderators of a subreddit have to follow. This includes rules such as: “As a moderator, you cannot interfere with or disrupt Reddit communities, nor can you facilitate, encourage, coordinate, or enable members of your community to do this.” This rule includes “Enabling or encouraging content that showcases when users are banned or actioned in other communities, with the intent to incite a negative reaction.”

Allowing it puts the existence of our sub at risk.

So, this means that we can’t allow negative discussion about any other sub or other sub’s moderators on here.

Any other discussions that are negative to the APP - like the journeys discussion a year ago - will be allowed. You can complain or bring up things here that may not be allowed in other subs…but again, we are not allowed to break Reddit’s rules.

Thank you for understanding what we had to do. We wish that we could talk about anything here but we still have to abide by Reddit’s rules.

I don’t know if I can post about this but yesterday My old dog got really sick and there was nothing we could do to help him so he crossed the rainbow bridge. He was almost 12 years old and I’m feeling guilty that I question if I let him be sick for too long? but he honestly got worse it seemed within 2 days.

I just want to reach out through the internet and feel like the finch community is a huge piece of my support group. Probably bigger than irl. I’m so sad I don’t recognize myself. I’m laying in bed, not moving, watching Swamp People hunt gators, as tears run down my face.

My dog, Copper Ferdinand, was the best dog I’ve ever met in my entire life. Everybody who met him loved him. He was named after the hound dog from The Fox and the Hound. (My favorite Disney story)

This is the closest family member I’ve ever lost. He was like one of my children.

My body feels paralyzed. And my younger dog is noticeably uncomfortable like, looking for his friend, and just staying in bed with me.

I promise I’m ok I just wanted to share that and hear from you guys.
