I was a big Finch user back in 2025, and at some point I quit because I was just logging in to keep my streak. I bought one of the merch plushies back then, and in the time since I've realized it's not sparking joy for me. Rather than take it to the local salvation army, I thought I could give it away in a community to whom their birbs mean a lot to them.
[Before you read further: I'm based in the USA and I can't easily pay to ship a large item overseas, so this giveaway is open to those in the USA/Canada/Mexico.]
I get this sub and the official in my feed sometimes, and though the development direction is making me hesitant to re download at this point, I can also see just how much it helps people and how much it matters to them. This giveaway occurred to me because I thought, someone might choose not to buy a plushie now because of the recent genai marketing strategy, but they might still really want one.
If you want merch of your birb but would prefer to not financially support the official merch site; if you can't afford or justify the expense; if you could use a win; any reason under the sun at all; feel free to join!
The plush has only ever been used for display, so in very good condition. I knit a second outfit for it when I first purchased it - since I don't have time or energy to repurpose the yarn, I'll mail it along with the plush. I thought it would be a fun little extra detail 🎉

I am proud of my streak! I downloaded Finch initially, but completely let it sit there collecting digital dust. Honestly? I wish I had started using it from Day 1!
Ever since I actually started using Finch daily, I’ve accomplished so many personal goals while having a blast along the way. I’m just annoyed with the lack of response from Finch over the AI in the merch shop. I feel like 5 days was enough time to formulate a response instead of just one comment that they’ve removed the images.
I understand it’s been the weekend, I understand that there’s a chain of command and a level of investigation but it’s just been so quiet. I’m just frustrated that we got nothing? Y’know…
I decided to create a Treehouse for Ambrose inspired by One of my favorite albums...THE BLACK PARADE by MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and I must say I am very pleased with it🤗 and Ambrose was so excited to dress up as Thackery Binx or "Binx" from Hocus Pocus(since his owner just watched the movie) because after all it is Spooky season in the finchieverse👻🖤🫶🐈⬛️
