I was a big Finch user back in 2025, and at some point I quit because I was just logging in to keep my streak. I bought one of the merch plushies back then, and in the time since I've realized it's not sparking joy for me. Rather than take it to the local salvation army, I thought I could give it away in a community to whom their birbs mean a lot to them.
[Before you read further: I'm based in the USA and I can't easily pay to ship a large item overseas, so this giveaway is open to those in the USA/Canada/Mexico.]
I get this sub and the official in my feed sometimes, and though the development direction is making me hesitant to re download at this point, I can also see just how much it helps people and how much it matters to them. This giveaway occurred to me because I thought, someone might choose not to buy a plushie now because of the recent genai marketing strategy, but they might still really want one.

The plush has only ever been used for display, so in very good condition. I knit a second outfit for it when I first purchased it - since I don't have time or energy to repurpose the yarn, I'll mail it along with the plush. I thought it would be a fun little extra detail π

Hit up the local miniso on a whim and the kitten academy boxes spoke to me. One was marked lower price than the others, and while I know retail work well enough to suspect it was in error, I also know retail work well enough to know that I can try my chances and the cashier might let it slide. I wasn't gonna pester her about it, just one try and if she declined to honor it I'd just get something else instead. She was halfway through explaining why she was gonna hafta decline, when she decided she didn't care enough to finish that sentence and went "eh ykw I'll just adjust it π€·" my sister in cashiering π€

I don't regularly buy fugglers, nor do I feel strongly about SpongeBob characters, but this one had such a darling face to me! He's wide eyed compared to the other Patrick clips I've seen, and his fur covers the sides of his mouth so he looks like he's got a tiny o-shaped mouth π
I got him at the store I cashier at. I call him Patrick Starry Eyed because I found him staring up at the fluorescent lights like they were the prettiest galaxies he'd ever seen. I bought him and gave him a t shirt from my doll accessories collection. He doesn't have a rare color button or anything (it's just tan) but he feels rare to me xD he's my tiny precious infant son who stares at bright lights unblinkingly like a moth and he's perfect β¨
So I know at c0r0 Flins premium, sucrose is the best anemo 4th slot at any con, and bina is the team sms wielder. My setup has c2 bina, c1 Flins, c0 ineffa. (All r1 because I was a noob in 6.3 and didn't understand c1 versus r1 priority on supports lol) I'm heavily inclined to move aubade to bina since she's c2, which gives me a couple options for sms: put it on ineffa, or... I have c6 jahoda from chasing columbina cons last patch lmao. Is it worth it to use jahoda on sms to keep aubade on my damage dealing supports, or is losing ttds/vv a significant downgrade outweighing keeping ineffa on aubade?

Ka is the guard dog. He's got an alert and serious personality, so he doesn't hop into bed like the others - he's most comfortable standing watch beside π
Spoonie is the cuddler. He makes sure you don't have to sleep alone. Though he might steal some of your pillows in the process π
Mino is the calm presence. Look, he's already halfway asleep! Aren't you drowsy just looking at him? He's a pro at getting a good snooze π©·
The duck beside him is a fidget squish! The bright yellow color scheme makes me happy π€
Maybe I'm the last to learn this, but anyway... I think those Kandi muzzles are so cute, but i was hesitant to put them on my ESSAs because the idea of my ESSA wear a muzzle stressed me out. I know they aren't always for aggression, can often be for stuff like eating nonfood off the floor or barking, but any of those ideas still didn't vibe with me.
Then I found out about gentle leads, which are what essa muzzles actually resemble most of the time! You attach a leash to the part under the dogs chin, and it prevents your dog from pulling on the leash! It's actually commonly used in service animal training, I never knew these even existed tho because I've always had short snout dogs π
Idk if anyone else in this sub feels the same way about ESSAs wearing muzzles, and no shade to anyone who doesn't get the same anxiety about the concept of a regular muzzle as I do, but I'm oddly relieved now that I can make that kinda gear and have it be congruous with how I see my ESSAs π₯Ή sorry if this is common knowledge but I was just glad to learn it
I traveled to visit family and stayed at a relative's house where some of my younger cousins were also staying, one of my cousins (he's about 14yo) likes stuffed animals too, so we introduced our stuffed animals to each other! His is the leopard, named Catt. My cousin is deaf, and I'm not especially fluent in ASL, but I practiced some signs ahead of time so we could have a conversation.
Catt's sign name is the sign for "cat", but with thumb + two fingers instead of thumb + one finger, to represent the spelling with the two T's. Megabyte's sign name, we decided, is the sign for "bite" but with the hand biting the forearm instead of the other hand, so it's more emphasized/"mega". I think it's really cool how a kinesthetic language can have the same sorts of alterations to words to convey meaning like how spelling changes do in a written language, so I wanted to share those details!
Also, it's likely that Catt has an ESSA type role for my cousin, but I don't want to project so I didn't phrase it like that in my post title. He carries Catt to a lot of places with him and he is very emotionally connected to her, so it's certainly possible he might identify with that term if he saw it! I think the idea of two different people's ESSAs meeting each other is endearing; Catt and Megabyte certainly had a good time, as did my cousin and I! Have your ESSAs ever met someone else's?
I'm a newgen player who got him on his 6.3 rerun, absolutely will go for his c1 asap but until then I'm mostly using him with escoffier and citlali for hydro res shred and interruption resistance π I'm by no means a top tier player, hell I BARELY cleared stygian on menacing today for the first time, but I'm having fun getting into the rhythm of the game and Neuvi may just be my DPS that's most "fun" gameplay wise! (I have some strong 6.x DPS but they're quite different play styles lol. ) Now that I have some supports to use with him, I'm so glad I can actually use him in content hehe
I don't normally get plane anxiety but I got randomly assigned an exit row on this plane it was even more claustrophobic because the seat was narrower and the flight attendant's seat was facing mine. I had a panic attack and the flight attendant found someone less anxious to sit there instead π super embarrassed but better than 5 hours of misery. And Megabyte was there to help me feel better β¨

Tip if you're looking for a harness to put on a non-quadruped animal: something less structured and more strappy is better because it's easier to adjust around different limb shapes. This harness here, i personally would never buy for a real dog because it looks like something they could slip out of or wouldn't fit their torso comfy, but for a shark plush it's perfect lol
It's originally a bathrobe designed for dogs, because it doesn't have legs like a onesie it fits my sharks pretty well lol. I generally prefer soft gear for cuddling so it's perfect for me hehe
My bf loves legos(+ brand alternatives), and he loves studying gnosticism and other western mythology based in Christianity but heretical or otherwise not mainstream these days. I found an interesting archangel figure listed online that's right up his alley but I'm curious if anyone knows any other good recs? Complexity and price not a concern at this time. I understand there's probably not a lot out there but never hurts to ask π
Edit: apparently this specific depiction i screenshotted is uriel from demonic paradise, rather than being purely based on gnosticism in general. I guess there probably isn't something based on a relatively obscure mythos, stuff from media franchises is more popular, but feel free to send anything that looks cool even if it's from media! My bf is gonna enjoy this figure all the same lol
Ka's duck harness is my favorite! But Mino and Spoonie are cute in their pj's, great for cuddling since I don't take them places as often~
I did it because my hair was already dyed (no wig used here!) but I was dating literally Midori at the time, (well not LITERALLY literally but ykwim), funny how that goes π΅βπ«

If you mod quiet/small dog breeds into your game, or just find dog barks irritating, give Softer Cuter Dog Sounds a try! Replace the default sounds with your choice of 3 recorded noises from my lil guy, or silence. Gmcm compatible π

I made a furry sweater for him because his fabric, while very soft, is printed which isn't my favorite texture - chenille yarn is much more pleasing. Though I guess if a shark was smooth in all directions, it wouldn't match their grooved skin irl xD
