QCI 6 - Extended Primary

QCI 6 - Extended Primary

Hello. Not sure if this data is of any use or if it clarifies any prior suspicions. Theres a safe root exploit trending on XDA for Samsungs with a June 2026 security patch (or earlier) that I just did.

QCI/network priority data requires root and that info is not readily available. So I rooted my Galalxy Fold 7, gave SU permissions to Network Signal Guru and it shows this.

Does this confirm Extended Primary users on FirstNet get QCI 6? I'm on FirstNet Unlimited Extra.

Only reason I'm sharing this data is because a lot of info surrounding network priority and Firstnet always mentioned some uncertainty with how extended primary users are treated... some alluding to QCI 7.

FirstNet reps here?

Any representatives or contacts here that can look into an issue? I was a customer for three years under my role in state government, fast forward to a request to verify my eligibility again. I was told my employee ID was not good enough, submitted a pay stub and eventually a letter of verification from my agency. I was flat out told the job title didn’t match and I suddenly didn’t qualify. Frustrated to say the least and was hoping for more insight or guidance as customer service was a waste of time. Nothing changed in my role over the last three years..

5g SA

Has anyone actually managed to get access to the SA core yet? I've had absolutely no luck, and every time you call in the rep has no clue what it even is.

Is It Possible

So, this is straight from Google's website, looks like the Pixel Watch 5 sold by Google from their website will be compatible with Firstnet. Does this mean I can buy direct from Google to take advantage of the trade in deals and NOT have to buy from AT&T???

FirstNet 5G SA Core / staying on LTE

Is anyone else thinking of just staying toggled on LTE to stick on b14 to avoid battery drain with having 5G enabled, regardless of the 5G SA core heading our way? (or if you already have 5G SA)

Ultimately if there’s severe congestion or an uplift enabled, you’ll go back to b14. The only upside I see to the 5G SA core is higher throughput when you need it. Where I live in Indiana, there are so many holes where I lose any 5G NR carrier and drop back to LTE while driving anyway.

Purchase Att Variant from Samsung

Some of you may remember I posted a couple weeks ago about the new fold 8.

I hate to create another post but I chatted with the Samsung chat rep and added a att version to my cart. They confirmed it is in fact a u variant for att and should work for firstnet. My issue before was I didn't want to mess with my current Google pixel installments already on my FN line.

Has anyone successfully gone this route and been successful? Samsung will allow me to complete the purchase of the att variant without logging into att if I choose to pay in full and not installments.

5G Core

What does this mean for FirstNet users in Puerto Rico? Is Liberty planning a SA launch soon or will they have to wait longer?
