Just saw this in the EAA ehotline email from last week.
Next weekend (7/10-7/12) you can use MSFS or X-plane flight simulators and fly the Fisk arrival with the real Oshkosh controllers. I guess the controllers use it as a warm up like we do!

Hello. I have a problem with msfs2020 losing keyboard and mouse focus randomly. I still can use my pedals and yoke, but no matter what - neither keyboard nor mouse works. It randomly occurs when changing camera from cockpit to external or external to cockpit. Then mouse disappers and nothing works. I tried changing my keybinds, none of it works. For now the only solution is to restart the game. Any ideas guys? It really pisses me off because there is no day without this issue.

Genuinely did not expect this response. Quick context: I'm an international student and I built this in a single day, so it's rough around the edges — and you all found them fast 😅 Biggest one: the flight times and distances are off right now (it's estimating instead of calculating). That's my #1 fix.

You pick how much time you have, a vibe (scenic mountains, coastal, city skylines, bush/remote), and an aircraft type and it gives you one flight: departure + destination, a route on a map, cruise altitude, est. time, and a proper briefing of what you'll actually see along the way.

I made a small project called MapILS — it's a simple world map that shows airports as green dots. When you click on one, you can see runway info, ILS approach points, and alignment angle 📡🛬
The goal is to make IFR/ILS approaches easier to understand visually, especially for flight sim users (MSFS, X-Plane, etc.)
It's still pretty basic, but I'd love some feedback and ideas to improve it 🙏
SOLVED: the reason was incorrect BIOS system time. The battery buffering my motherboard is dead and sometimes upon booting the incorrect system time is set. Doesn‘t really bother me however I just learned that incorrect system time can interfere with server synchronization, causing the effect that installed add-ons won’t appear in the sim like aircraft being installed but not appearing in the hangar. Once I set the correct time in the BIOS it worked again.
Leaving this post here in case someone encounters a similar issue.

I bought the CowanSim H125 helicopter today on MSFS 2020 marketplace. It was automatically downloaded and installed, it is listed it in the content manager. However it doesn‘t appear in my aircraft list. So I cleared the cache, restarted the sim, still not there. Uninstalled the add-on and reinstalled it - still not there. Any idea? Never happened to me before.
Hi to everyone, I'm trying to understand what would be the performance of the fenix a320 on my setup with MFSF2024.
I'm using the FBW A3NX for a while now, but I wanted to try the fenix.
What the FBW I get about 80 FPS with dlss and autoFPS in big airport. Sometimes I get drops in airport during taxi if there are a lot of other airplanes. Without dlss I get about 30fps.
What do you think will be my performance with the fenix ?
