I just watched The Flintstones (1994) and I loved it
I cannot understand why this movie has such bad ratings. It has a phenomenal cast, unbelievable props and setting, and is just generally a great time.
Yes, the script is very generic and tropey, but it's a film based off a cartoon and cartoons are tropey!
It also has bizarrely serious themes about capitalism (and even seems communist at times). And I love it for that. What a strange, wonderful film.

I paint my favorite cartoon characters from childhood on beach stones I find when walking my dog then gift them, keep them or hide them during my hikes (also with my dog)! Here's my Fred Flintstone stone! A beach quartz rock from Rhode Island!
