Theory: Angel Cake got hit in the head sometime during seasons 3 or 4
Angel Cake in the first few seasons was a nice, albeit a bit bossy and pushy girl who cared for her friends. She was sometimes quippy, sometimes snarky, but her attitude was never enough to outshine her good qualities. Then, in the later seasons, especially season 4, she became irrational, irritable, and downright possessive, easily jumping to conclusions and stirring up trouble, not even caring how she made other people feel. It progressively got worse until she turned mean and aggressive to a concerning degree. She made fun of people and got angry easily, making everything a competition or about herself.
Her behavior shift wasn't sudden, it developed slowly over the course of the show, and I think it has an in-universe explanation. In the episode "Angel Cake in the outfield," Angel Cake repeatedly trips and falls while playing ball with the other kids, getting progressively more upset each time until she storms away from the game in a rage. By the end of the episode, she's able to see reason and learns to chill out and have fun even when she messes up. In the following episode "Win some, lose some," something similar happens when Angel Cake falls and gets annoyed. At this point in the show, Angel Cake is still nice, but is still clearly prone to getting irritated by small things. She's shown to still trip and fall when playing games with the others.
My theory is that at some point after season 2, Angel Cake finally tripped and fell on her head, giving her a traumatic brain injury that caused her to become more irritable and affected her behavior and reasoning. She's shown to start having her worse moments in season 3, such as in "Piece of cake," where she bosses the other girls while filming the cooking show, and in the sweet dreams movie, where she's mean to Raspberry Torte and Lemon Meringue, basically calling them outsiders. By the time season 4 kicks off, she's become almost completely unrecognizable from the person she once was, and no longer listens to her friends or rationalizes like she used to. Clearly, whatever part of her head she hit, it made her slowly deteriorate into the bully Angel Cake she ended the show being.
Comment below saying how accurate you think this theory is.

when feuds and grudges are put aside, imagine how joyous things could become.
just realized the first 80's SBS special and Sky's The Limit have opposite conflicts
in the first 80's special, they're trying to stop a flood the Pieman caused. In Sky's the Limit, they're trying to get more water for Berry Bitty City
Fanart of Coyote and Roadrunner
can't wait for coyote vs acme!

I read somewhere that Tex Avery originally wanted the ending of The Heckling Hare to be the Bugs and Willoughby kept falling from the cliff instead of ever landing on the ground, they'd fall off a new cliff and the cartoon would've ended there. Apparently when Leon Schlesinger decided the ending should be changed to the current version, Avery flipped and got into a heated argument with the producer, which led him to packing his bags and leaving Warner Bros to work at MGM. Is there actually a verifiable source for this actually happening? I've always wondered what it would've been like if Avery never walked out of Warners Bro's doors as a result of this.
I don't remember Bugs Bunny ever shapeshifting in any of the classic era shorts. If Bugs needed to transform, he'd always put on a disguise. The only other example I can think of where Bugs shapeshifted was in What's Cookin' Doc where he morphed his face into the various celebrities. So seeing him growing a big belly and becoming obese out of nowhere just to make fun of Elmer (who was briefly designed to be fat in a few Clampett shorts in the 40's), ignoring the scene's current meme status, feels flat out bizzare. I feel like I can't be the only one who's thought of this.
Edit: This isn't a dig at Clampett's directing style for his cartoons. He's in fact one of my favorite golden age cartoon directors. I just felt like pointing out how unusual the decision to make Bugs shapeshift for this specific gag was. Even on the shorts Clampett directed, the instances of Bugs demonstrating this ability were limited.
Hi, I'm 21(M) and I just drank some water but it felt like it went down the wrong way in my throat, but I didn't cough it out. Did I just silently aspirate my water? Am I in trouble?
i don't care what it takes, i'm going to get a shiny starter no matter what. i've never gotten a shiny starter, but I'm going to put an end to that once and for all. wish me luck, everyone.
