This era was so cute and whimsical and would be perfect to back, especially in a world where people are nostalgic for the 2000s and Y2K style has made a comeback. Especially the cowgirl Strawberry Shortcake, with the popularity of Chappell Roan and the pink cowgirl aesthetic.

I just would love to go to my local Five Below or Walmart and find new 2003 Strawberry Shortcake merch. Even if it's just the adorable iconic scented stickers.

I just feel like 2003 Strawberry needs more love. ❤️🩷💚

A berry annoying holdup (Coloured)

A Colourised version of one of my older fan drawings. Limelight and strawberry shortcake are supposed to be at a photo shoot for one of limelight’s clients but are being deliberately held at the studio by somebody and limelight is getting rather annoyed about it.

Theory: Angel Cake got hit in the head sometime during seasons 3 or 4

Angel Cake in the first few seasons was a nice, albeit a bit bossy and pushy girl who cared for her friends. She was sometimes quippy, sometimes snarky, but her attitude was never enough to outshine her good qualities. Then, in the later seasons, especially season 4, she became irrational, irritable, and downright possessive, easily jumping to conclusions and stirring up trouble, not even caring how she made other people feel. It progressively got worse until she turned mean and aggressive to a concerning degree. She made fun of people and got angry easily, making everything a competition or about herself.

Her behavior shift wasn't sudden, it developed slowly over the course of the show, and I think it has an in-universe explanation. In the episode "Angel Cake in the outfield," Angel Cake repeatedly trips and falls while playing ball with the other kids, getting progressively more upset each time until she storms away from the game in a rage. By the end of the episode, she's able to see reason and learns to chill out and have fun even when she messes up. In the following episode "Win some, lose some," something similar happens when Angel Cake falls and gets annoyed. At this point in the show, Angel Cake is still nice, but is still clearly prone to getting irritated by small things. She's shown to still trip and fall when playing games with the others.

My theory is that at some point after season 2, Angel Cake finally tripped and fell on her head, giving her a traumatic brain injury that caused her to become more irritable and affected her behavior and reasoning. She's shown to start having her worse moments in season 3, such as in "Piece of cake," where she bosses the other girls while filming the cooking show, and in the sweet dreams movie, where she's mean to Raspberry Torte and Lemon Meringue, basically calling them outsiders. By the time season 4 kicks off, she's become almost completely unrecognizable from the person she once was, and no longer listens to her friends or rationalizes like she used to. Clearly, whatever part of her head she hit, it made her slowly deteriorate into the bully Angel Cake she ended the show being.

Comment below saying how accurate you think this theory is.

I think I found your Culprit (Colourised)

A colourised version of my last post (Sorry if the summary is the same) Another act of sabotage but this time it’s happened during a chilli cook off and Plum Puddin has discovered the culprit that has caused some of the groups chilli pots to become explosively hot 🔥 Tangerine is horrified by this discovery as she recognises the culprit very quickly. That’s all the details for now and I may colour this in the future.

Strawberry Shortcake painting I did!

Hey everyone, my name is Eric Olcsvary, a cartoonist from Ontario Canada. I just finished up this piece the other day and wanted to share so, I thought I would show it to you all. I'm new in here so, nice to meet you!

This piece was hand painted by myself with India ink and brush on 11" x 14" Bristol smooth paper. It'll be an art print soon, as I am a comic creator and go to lots of cons:) I redesigned Strawberry and Orange Blossom, but kept Purple Pie Man, Pupcake and Apple Dumplin' to the early 2000's designs I grew up with!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Lost media Strawberry Shortcake pizza game?

I remember a game where you made pizzas with heart-shaped dough, flower-shaped dough (I think), and regular dough. I’m pretty sure it’s lost media since I can’t find it anywhere. Details: cilantro heart pizza, flower pizza, spreading sauce, an old Amazon Fire with an ocean background, simple graphics, a girl chef cooking, and a “Strawberry Shortcake” icon on an old tablet. Anyone else remember this game?

Looking for a specific scene from the 2003-2007 series: A mechanical cow making ice cream?

Hi everyone! I have a very vivid memory of a scene from (I think) the 2003-2007 Strawberry Shortcake cartoon, but I can't find the episode. In the scene, a few characters are standing in a valley with green hills (next to a riverbed?). They see a strange object approaching from a distance and they are confused about what it is. When it gets closer, it turns out to be a mechanical cow of some kind that produces ice cream or milkshakes or something. It actually looked like a cow. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Was it part of the "Adventure on Ice Cream Island" specials or maybe a different episode? I'm starting to doubt if it even was a scene from Strawberry Shortcake to begin with, but my memory seems to loop back to it. Thanks in advance!
