Do you ever feel like certain places hold emotional memories in the air?

Sometimes I’ll walk into a place and instantly feel something I can’t explain. Not even a specific memory — just a feeling.

Like the space remembers a version of life that happened there.

Could be an old street, a hallway, a café, even a certain type of evening light.

It’s strange how places can stay emotionally familiar long after moments are gone.

Does anyone else feel that?

A few photos from the wild jungles and mountains of Dominica (not to be confused with the Dominican Republic). Such an amazing island with something like 12 volcanos and 365 rivers and up to 9m of rain. A true juristic park type lost world.

Made on film. Processed and scanned by me at home. The white line going through the water in the last pic is from the negative getting bent 🥴😩

Just look at that, you can't see beyond it. It's like a grayish wall.

It was rather a normal day until a cloudless cold front swooped in and we got this fog + late day sun combo. I managed a smartphone shot.

Took this several years ago on 35mm.

I took these photos in December. I'm sorry about how blurry they are, but I just wanted to show the level of fog we were in, while driving through the mountains.
