In-car freezer
Hi, for context, I have the most basic model of the Ford Explorer EV (which is also the standard range). I’m about to do a long distance journey which will include a night in a hotel half way and will need to keep dog food frozen, so I’ve bought an in-car fridge freezer as it’ll be useful to us regularly.
My question is, what happens whilst the vehicle is parked overnight at the hotel? Forgive my naivety but will it drain the battery? I’ve scoured the fridge freezer’s manual but the only thing it says about it, is that it has low, medium & high levels of battery protection…? But no explanation as to how that works?
Google gave me two conflicting answers….
Am I missing something obvious here? Wouldn’t be the first time, to be fair.
Thanks!
