Tremor Towing Trailers Terrifically

First time towing a 'box' since I sold my Ram 2500 and was curious how well the Tremor would do with my new trailer. After about 500 miles so far, I'm very satisfied with how well it tows even with no airbags or Timbrens. Most of the time I can barely tell it's there, except for one day we had very strong cross winds. I could feel it pushing the truck a decent amount, but nothing that felt uncomfortable. The 3.5L has tons of grunt, it just sucks down the fuel while doing so. I've found locking out 9th and 10th to help a little bit. Otherwise it will sit in 9th gear and just run up the boost.

Trailer is 7.5' x 16' with a 2' V nose. Weighs about 1800lbs empty and has about 1500lbs of cargo in it between 2 sportbikes and gear.

Joined the club.

Glad to be back after owning a 2022 that was totaled. Ended up in a jeep for two years and felt squeezed.

Sickest color at sunset.

Couldn’t be happier to join the club

After a couple XLT leases I finally made the jump and financed myself a brand new 2025 Tremor. 402a package. 3.5L. This truck is a total dream. Making this post because if you’re considering buying one I’d look into searching your area for a leftover 2025. There are a few out there still and can get steep discounts. Also in 2026 the Ecoboost got a gas particulate filter and lost 20 horsepower.

Superduty F250 anniversary edition.

Ford should’ve released an F250 anniversary edition. What would it have looked like in your option? No wrong answers.

Update post from 4m ago

What’s up y’all I just want to sharemy experience incase anyone’s curious about these. After using this bed mat for the past four months, I'd definitely say it was worth every penny. I hose it off every week and shake it out a couple of times during the week, and it's held up really well so far.

Finally got a tonneau cover!

Sorry for the double post, but I finally picked up a tonneau cover for the 402. After getting my storage tote loaded with about $400 in ratchet straps and hitches stolen in april, i’ve been frantically searching for one. found one on marketplace for $85! original factory Ford cover too!

The truck came from the dealer with a nice Leer camper shell and a DECKED in the back but I quickly sold those for some extra cash and to get the pickup truck look back.

And also didn’t mean to show off the license plate tehe 🤭

Service light

I’ve gotten this 3 times since owning the truck (only 3 weeks). The last 2 times it’s cleared after a day or so. Anyone deal with the same?

Disabling Ford TCU/Tracker

Has anyone disabled the TCU in their truck? I have a 24 Tremor and I'm being told that Ford changes the fuse location every year.

Buying a Tremor, 401A or 402A?

Looking at buying a new Tremor with the 3.5 near the end of this year, tempted to spend the extra cash on the 402A package, the upgraded tail lights, front and rear bumper, interior and sound system catch my eye a lot but not sure if it’s worth it. 401A owners, have you been totally happy?

For context I’m coming from a 2024 Sierra Elevation so I think I’ll be happy no matter the package.

New Tremor Skid plate missing?

Just picked up a new 2026 tremor! My question is that it looks like the transmission pan (I think that’s what it is) is missing a skid plate and very exposed? Has anyone found a steel option for this to cover it up, OEM/Aftermarket. The last pickup I had (Ram 1500) I put a stick through the pan in the woods so I’ll need one that can match up to the factory tremor skid plates.

Thanks!

Tremor lights

Picked up my 25 Tremor with modular bumper and 402A package. Looking to get some lights as I’m driving back roads often for my job. What’s everyone running? Is it worth it to go with something like the Baja Designs set up, or is there better options out there? I was thinking ditch lights, rear facing, and a light bar in the grill but don’t know where to look to compare options.

Wheel spacers…

After leveling my 2022 402A, I noticed the ball joint angles sucked the front wheels in more than stock height. I expected this because of the geometry change. Now I’m interested in some wheel spacers. I’ve been digging a little bit and considered the half inch hub centric spacer plates just to get a little bit more poke. Considering 0.5” in the front and 0.25” in the rear, but I’m worried it’s not going to move the wheel out as much as I’m imagining. I don’t want a ton of poke, in my opinion too much looks tacky unless you have flares to compensate.

To anyone running 1.25 bolt on spacers with stock rims, how has your experience been? Rubbing? Handling? Anything you’ve noticed.

I’ve heard the Tremor can handle 35’s as long as it’s leveled without rubbing, would short spacers (0.5” or 1.25”) make them rub? I currently am running stock wheel and tire setup with the idea of 35’s in mind once these get to the wear bars. One of my biggest turnoffs with the 35’s is the speedo calibration. I don’t have experience with Forscan and my local dealer said they wouldn’t recalibrate it if I brought it in. Is Forscan really that difficult to navigate, or is it just changing a few values in the wheel speed sensor to adjust for the larger tire size?

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks guys!
