Looking for dock recommendations.. Current one has issues.

I work from home and my current setup shares monitors between my work laptop plus my desktop. My monitors work perfect through my desktop - both connected via displayport to my 5080.
With my laptop, I'm currently connected using a Thinkpad Thunderbolt 4 dock to my Thinkpad laptop but getting visual issues with one of my monitors.
Monitor 1: AOC 34" Ultrawide running 3440x1440 144hz connected via DP
Monitor2: AOC 27" running 2560x1440 120hz connected via HDMI (only 1 DP port)
The docking station won't run both monitors at 144hz, which is fine. What I'm experiencing though is constant video 'bugs' with the 27" monitor. It will lose video connection intermittently, the video itself sometimes will do what I can best describe as get 'squiggly' for a couple seconds then reverts back to a normal picture. I have tried running this monitor at different refresh rates from 60, 120, etc to see if that makes any difference but none that I can really tell -- I assume since both work fine connected to my Desktop, it has to do with the signal coming through the dock itself.
My question is, does it sound like the dock? or maybe the fact it's running 2560x1440 120hz through the HDMI? My thought would be to find a better quality universal dock that maybe supports better resolution(s).
Any thoughts from the reddit masses?
