The Festival Artist Bracket BR, DAY 1: Billie VS Weeknd
HELLO! Today I’m starting something new, we’re gonna let this reddit decide IT’S favorite artist together, through THIS BRACKET! Every day, till we decide a winner, I’ll post a round of this. Everyday 2 artists will go head to head, you get one comment to vote each day (make your vote clear), UPVOTES DO NOTHING, and whoever gets the most votes moves onto the NEXT ROUND!
Phase 1 has 12 rounds, each 2 artists that have been released after Festival dropped. SO LET’S GET STARTED WITH ROUND 1!
THE WEEKND VS BILLIE! Comment your vote, and at 9pm EST tomorrow, I’ll tally them and post the next round here!
Vote counter: (I’ll try to update frequently)
W: 14 and B: 7 (seems like this will be a weeknd landslide lol)
My vote though today is going to…The Weeknd!
So I was wondering if there were any microphones at a reseable price under $50 that I could use for festival.
I currently am just singing into my controller and it's not as fun as a microphone.
Green Day Fortnite Festival
We have the Jam Tracks but No Skins or even a Season for them. It's time for a Punk Rock Group Season
What songs in Festival do you have a sentimental connection with or memory with?
I got 6 that I have a story with it, that makes me tend to play those songs more frequently.
1- Beautiful Day by U2. This is a song Ive always heavily associated with Matpat leaving YouTube. Idk why but the lyrics have always led my mind to that, and since he was one of the my favorite creators of all time that I’ve watched since my childhood. Well that’s gonna bump it up
2- Starboy by Weeknd & Daft Punk. The first daft and Weeknd song I’ve ever listened to, and the first time I ever heard it was a Henry Stickmen animation meme. Since that’s like my favorite Indie oat, mix that with introducing me to 2 fantastic artists. Yep a forever memory song right there
3- Rain On Me by Lady Gaga. I don’t like Gaga, never have, this song I make a huge exception for now though. My senior year spring musical was Singing In The Rain and we would sing that song every day during tech week to warm us up. So since that was my last hora with my school’s drama team, it holds a place in my heart lol
4- Take My Breath by Weeknd. The first ever song revealed for Festival and since Festival is the one thing that kept me on Fortnite through Ch5, it always brings nostalgic memories when I hear it.
5- From The Start by Laufey. The ONE SONG I know on guitar. I never heard about Laufey until I had a crush on this girl. Her friend told me she liked big romcom confessions, so I learned that song guitar, and did a rendition of it, she somehow said yes. And we dated for 2 years after that. We broke up like 2 weeks ago, but I cherish the song for that alone lol
6- I’ll Believe In Anything by Wolf Parade. I completely forgot this song existed until today, but this was my mom’s favorite song when I was like 5. She would play it all the time, so when I heard it today HOLY the memories came rushing back
What are some song stories you have?
Am I Alone in preferring nostalgic hits over current hits?
Don’t get me wrong, I understand why they are piling up with current hits and most of them are enjoyable to listen and play. But I wish they would give nostalgic hits from the 70’s, 80’s, and especially 90’s more inclusion as well. I mean, personally, I’m still spending money on their content, currently sitting on 7,350 vbucks at the moment and will continue to buy more vbucks because I enjoy this game and all its offerings. I personally want to be able to enjoy more of the nostalgic hits as well.
Kehlani and Wolf Parade come to Festival on Thursday!

In your opinion, which are the greatest music collabs that Fortnite has ever done? (They don’t have to be headliners)
Well Fortnite has done a shit ton of artist collabs, even before Festival. so obviously some have to rise above the others quality wise
so which would you say were the best of the best artist collabs? Mine (no particular order):
- Daft Punk. They put a shit ton of effort into them. Great skins, that fantastic experience with 30+ songs and reference after reference, decent jam track selection (although I wish they did more). If I’m being honest, if these guys were headliners, they would’ve likely went down as one of the best among the community imo
- Metallica. 14 songs, 8 skins, a creative concert, BR island, BR mythic, and a rocket racing map. They really went all in on this collab and you could tell, to bad they didn’t sell very well seemingly. Probably over bet their hand with them and didn’t make back as much as they were expecting. However was still a 10/10 artist collab none the less
- Juice Wrld. Love or hate the Remix season, I think everyone can agree that the Juice Wrld collab was pure bliss. They respected that man to hell and back and it was really sweet seeing his legacy continue in a game that he loved years after his death. Good skins, great concert, and decent number of songs were just the icing on the cake.
Funny story I got about Juice, when I was on a call for the prelude event with my friends, right before it started I said: “they used the Marshmello Juice intro in the teaser. They’re teasing a collab 100%.“ they called me insane. And then we were all screaming like school girls in hype when that trailer ended lol
- Marshmello. I know some will disagree with me when it comes to putting him here. However this one collab really changed everything when it came to how games were perceived in general. The tech they also used for him was revolutionary in 2018 and it was a miracle that it went off without a hitch at all
just for that alone, I think he deserves a spot up their with the best music collabs. He really changed everything for Fortnite, and without him Festival likely wouldn’t have even come out years later
Who would you pick?
karaoke not working help plz I'm begging
I've tried using multiple different mics, I've dug through my settings, and I still can't get karaoke to work. My voice chat works perfectly fine, even while in backstage, but the second the song starts, it's like my mic completely cuts off. Does anyone know what's happening?
Would anyone else love to see Lorna Shore / Will Ramos in Fortnite + Festival?
Hey everyone,
With Fortnite Festival expanding into heavier music, I think it’s time we get some actual deathcore in the game. Lorna Shore would be the perfect fit, especially for players who are looking for an absolute nightmare difficulty on every instrument.
- To the Hellfire – The breakdown at the end with Will Ramos' vocals would be legendary to chart. The drum track would be pure chaos.
- Sun//Eater – Incredible blast beats and a very melodic guitar solo that would be super fun for lead players.
- The Pain Remains I-III – A bit more emotional but still heavy, with an amazing atmosphere.
- Basically I would be grateful for absolutely anything atp
What do you guys think? Me personally, I would give Epic everything I owe
Fortnite official concept art for the Gorillaz skins!
Will my MIDI drumkit work on Fortnite Festival on Xbox
I got a Yamaha DTX MIDI eKit I got for my 16th birthday (I'm 23 now, 24 in August) and I wanna play pro-drums with this if possible so does anyone know if this works with the game
Indie Rock and R&B? The perfect karaoke combo. New hits from Kehlani and Wolf Parade hit the shop on Thursday 🎤
xcancel.comLammy/Rammy, and Katy for Fortnite festival.
I would absolutely love to see an Um jammer lammy Fortnite festival season especially if its during Rainbow royale since Lammy and Katy are canonically a couple.
I always pictured the 2 skins being unique where if used in any normal battle royale or experience mode they are cel shaded like the anime characters are but in Fortnite festival mode they revert to their flat PS1 style reminiscent of the game they are from and as a refference to the similar rhythmic gameplay of Um jammer lammy not unlike tracers guns this season going full blown overwatch.
Who are artists that you think would make for fantastic skins, based off of their irl outfits?
If I’m basing it purely off of skin potential, and nothing else like: songs, charting, popularity, etc. I would have 4 main ones.
1- Iron Maiden. A lot of Eddies to do, and they could pull a Miku and even make a Fortnite original one. Just so much to pull from for these guys
2- Ado. I don’t really listen to her a lot, but the designs she gave her persona are just phenomenal. Especially that suit one, would instant cop that
EDIT: I’ve already gotten 2 comments about this and not gonna keep on repeating myself so: yes Eddie and Ado are not “real people”. However these are the personas that the artists choose to present themselves with. If Epic would do a collab with either they would do the persona and not the actual outfits. Therefore the personas themselves act like the outfits in a way. Thank you
3- Gesaffelstein. Now I know probably at least half of you just said “WHO?!” right now. So he’s an older EDM artists that’s starting to come back into the spotlight slowly but surely. His 2024 album was just fantastic at least, would recommend listening to it if you like Daft Punk at all. But he also just has a look, and his suits with the all black mask really stand out imo (and also, before people say I’m saying he should be a headliner. No. I think he would fit way more as a store artist)
4- BBno$. This is probably the artist on this list I know the most. But he does have a wide variety of colorful outfits to pick from, he def would make for good skins
So I finally got this one flawless
Finally got it flawless but it wasn’t my highest score
I’m gonna kms
My best is 100% 379k score with 1 strike
