Who are the artist you think that will NEVER get added to festival with your reasons?

obvious one that comes to mind is Michael Jackson but who else do you think will never get added to Fortnite in any form?

About how people see Vocaloid and loids in Japan

So the recent Kaito drama in Japan created a lot more noise than I expected to the point of mainstream news outlets talking about it so there were a lot of comments from avg Japanese folk around the posts too. ngl they gave me a new perspective about how avg "normie" in Japan sees this whole scene.

It seems like they do recognize some loids and naturally Miku but the thing is most of them don't know what they exactly are lol. Like, Hatsune Miku is closer to something like Hello Kitty for most people rather than an instrument. A lot of Japanese people were legit shocked to learn Miku they see in some promotional material and commercials was not getting controlled by some human like Vtubers. Most of them do now some songs but a lot of them were assuming they were just from the owners of Miku and were performed by a real human so producer ecosystem and the fact that these songs are made by random people in their bedrooms %99 of the time isnt really known. Some of them were bringing up the guy who married Miku after learning what she truly is and asking "so did he married a concept and not a real woman behind an avatar?"

Also some people found it both weird and interesting that fans were literally picking a fight with an idol to protect something that is equal to Buc-ee's Beaver in purpose. Cant really blame them since when you see an idol drama most people expect it to be with another idol or band, not a mascot for a product but after some Kaito fans explaining how much tags mean to smaller producers and artists for visibility I think it became a bit more understandable for everyone.

Anyway I just wanted to share what I saw as it was both interesting and funny in a way, also people knowing Gumi to the point of putting her next to Kagamines and Miku while not knowing about Kaito was unexpected ngl.

Also a producer dropped this banger cover to make the concept more understandable and calm down the drama so give it a listen: https://x.com/reneesandayo/status/2107046528821178467?s=20

I made a compass for loids to show where I see majority of content about them coming from these days. It's just based on my observations so feel free to change stuff.

Do any of you use noodle stopper figures for their intended purpose?

I usually just display them but they are quite hard to fit in with other figures. They take too much space imo and not really great for display. I decided use my Teto one to actually stop noodles this time and it's working quite well. I can also act like broth of the noodle is bodily fluids from Teto. She doesnt fall or anything and keeps the lid closed so I will be carrying her with me from now on so she can stop the noodles when I need her to. I advise everyone to try it at least once.

ngl streetcat has grown on me.

I thought this would be my least favorite song from this album after listening it for the first time but after coming back to it a month later, it's kinda addictive. For some reason I really like it now, I think I would even put it to my top 3 with Human and ERB.

What do you all think about "Debit Bit" from Avogado?

I think this songs success is especially exceptional considering VB used here is literally a "who-loid" UTAU developed by producer himself so song doesnt benefit from any name or image recognition like Miku, Teto or literally any of the other semi popular loids.

I hate most of the merch from Youtooz

I said most because they can put out decent (still overpriced) stuff when they try but most merch coming from them are either plushies that looks noticibly worse than their concept arts or some random bs figure. Worst part is prices, they keep the quality at minimum while charging as much as possible for stuff that are barely above funko.

Only positive thing I can say is at least they do community design votes so it is actually possible to get a plushie of your favorite character, quality is is a coinflip as always tho.
