I've ordered official band merch through Shirt Killer before. Today they sent a message about carrying items for this Dischord band that has released one 7" and an LP. Chris Wilson is the drummer on those recordings, but you can clearly see Brendan in the latest press photo and he's also credited in the blurb. EDIT: Dischord clarifies that they has nothing to do with the collaboration, and they weren't informed about anything.

I was born too late to see them live unfortunately, but I was talking with a friend in my city's music scene who opened for them in 2001. He mentioned they had specifically asked for a rapper, so that was how he got onto the bill.
Of course he had said they were super nice guys and supportive. He had also mentioned that apparently they brought a washing machine with them on tour so they could clean their clothes.
Idk the image of the band having a washing machine next to the drum kit in their van was pretty funny to me, so I was curious if anyone else might have similar insights or stories.
Edit: I apologize I misremembered what my friend said. Given the comments they must have had a dryer on tour instead of a washer...

When I saw this, I thought Ian Fucked Up, Got Ambushed and Zipped In! This is pretty lame considering Ian is an OG supporter of Vans.
Apparently, there is a streetwear brand that is using the name Fugazi.
How is this legal? And why the hell would Vans work with them?
It's only 2.25x2.25 which is why it's so choppy but I think it looks alright
I emailed Ian MacKaye at the FLS, and 3712 is where Brendan Canty and Guy Picciotto lived when this show happened (3712 Garfield St. NW, Washington, D.C.). Fun fact: Ian was largely involved in the making of this flyer with the artist Ian Svenonius.
This was pointed out to me: these numbers on Canty's shoulder on the flyer for the first show. Does anyone know what this might mean?
