Joe Gross's "In On The Killtaker" audiobook (spotify)

Found this to be really interesting. Some of Gross's audiobooks get a little self-indulgent as if he's more interested in name-dropping and showing that he's "in the know," but this one comes across as sincere and insightful, well worth the listen.

Advice for using this vase?

I would like advice on how best to grow lucky bamboo in this vase. It measures 15" tall, 4" wide at the opening, and about 6" wide at its widest point. Here are a few questions I have:

  • how high should I fill it?
  • what should I fill it with (sand, marbles, pea gravel, etc.)?
  • how many cuttings could I fit in without it getting too crowded?
  • should I start the cuttings in a smaller jar so that I can see when roots have started?
  • how tall could the plant get?

Thanks in advance for advice!

Thoughts on why the Northwestern pond doesn't attract more waterfowl?

I'm surprised to so rarely see waterfowl other than Canadian geese on Northwestern's pond. I wouldn't expect any to nest there, necessarily, but I would expect to see more than just the geese. Any thoughts?

Lost car key.

I seem to have lost my car's keyless fob near Main and Chicago. The would be alone (no other keys along with it) and may or may not have a small carabiner. Thanks in advance

Is this a legitimate Le Creuset?

I'm dubious because I don't recall ever seeing one whose knob is the same color as the lid. If it is legitimate, I'd also like help identifying its size. It measures about three inches deep, 11 inches across, and 17 inches long.
