What size rug in my living room?

Ignore the mess but I’m trying to figure out what size rug for my living room I hope the drawings make sense.. just not sure if I should get a giant one to go under the 118” length couch fully or a smaller one partially or just have one not under the couch at all? Just looking for opinions 😋

Also I know it’s colorless and empty in here I just moved with literally nothing and I’m accumulating things slowly

any budget friendly couch recs that actually last or don't sag immediately?

Been trying to find a decent spot for movie nights without dropping crazy money on a traditional loveseat. honestly the furniture market right now is super frustrating—cheap stuff turns into a pancake after like two weeks, and anything decent costs half a paycheck.

looked into some alternative options since standard couches are so pricey. lovesac is supposed to be great quality, but 800 to 1500 bucks is way out of budget and buying something like that blind without sitting in it feels risky. yogibo is around 470 dollars and uses microbeads so the durability is actually pretty solid, but from what people say online, it feels more like a giant floppy pillow rather than a seat with actual structure.

then I stumbled across this pamapic double bean bag online for roughly 140 dollars. specs look okay—it has actual back and arm rests instead of being a random round ball, and uses memory foam instead of cheap foam beads. since there arent many deep reviews out there yet, im a bit on the fence.

has anyone actually used this budget two person bean bag for daily use? does it hold its shape or does it sag super fast? if you guys have any other good sub 200 couch recs, let me know

Natural wood furniture just hits different for courtyards

I really love this natural wood furniture — it fits the courtyard perfectly. There's something so organic about the warm wood tone against the greenery; it feels natural and effortless.

What I like most is that it's simple but never boring. No loud colors, no busy patterns — just clean lines and honest material. It lets the plants and the outdoor vibe do the talking.

Your help please? I have an empty space to the left of the fireplace that I feel needs something? It’s 480mm wide. Any suggestions welcome

Advice needed

I have this colour of parquet flooring (oak, finished with clear, matte oil) and I’m in the process of buying other furniture (clearly).
I want to get a big bookshelf for the corner close to the radiator but I’m stuck. If I get an oak cabinet will the colours clash? I want the bookshelf to be a focus point but not look ugly contrasting the floor.
Can anyone share pictures of their light flooring and wooden furniture so I can get an idea? Thank you!

Help styling this plaid couch

I am moving into a studio apartment with beige concrete floors and white walls. The space is very small so this couch will be a focal point. How do I style it to match the Nancy Meyers/French country aesthetic? Is the pattern too bold? I could try to make a slipcover for it in a solid color. Or maybe I could tone it down with solid colored curtains? I am also thinking about getting a rug to make it feel more cozy and lived-in. Any thoughts and insight would be much appreciated!! Thank you so much for your time :)

Help me decorate my living room into a warm coastal vibe but not “beach house”. Thanks!

I'm looking at this sectional. It would fit perfect in my space and it's very comfortable but I feel like the color is a little orangey? It could be because it's pulling color from the table and the bright lights, but what are your thoughts? Going for a warm neutral home.
