



Hello everyone. I have a gs300 that i recently bought but the radio does not turn on. I have the premium sound system with the NAV screen. I noticed that the 20amp fuse for the RADIO NO.1 is completely gone. So my question is, is it supposed to be empty or did a previous owner remove it? Could that be what’s causing the problem? I’m not that familiar with this car yet so anything helps.

It's getting exciting receiving updates from SRD regarding the Aristo. I've decided to go all out and have a custom Billet diff installed with the Giken LSD, that changes the ratio to 2.92, 1st through 3rd won't be a constant shitshow of up and down gear action when in traffic and it'll sit very low in the rev range when on a motorway cruise.
FMIC and new fuelling going in, all managed (including the zf8) via a LINKG4x. I'm leaving the stock turbos in situ for now, with a view to going single turbo in the next year or two. I think they'll be doing a dyno run with the Tom's ECU to compare against the Link. Note the really tidy job with the FMIC - the crash bar has been notched to perfection rather than chopping out the bit that matters to accommodate it!
Looking forward to picking it up and seeing just how much this transforms the car 😎
I’m looking to order some new Coilovers (bc racing extreme low) to replace my tein street ones. I want to achieve a pretty decent drop hopefully fender to lip of wheel. I just can not decide on a spring rate to get, I don’t know what’s considered “okay” for a car at that height. Right now I have 14k front and 12k rear selected but before I spend the $1400 I’d like some feed back from someone who runs stiff springs and are decently low.
Has anyone been able to add the oem spoiler on unless it’s a full trunk swap? I just prefer the look of the oem on a my silver gs then the wild aftermarket wings
Just curious on how rare they are. They are factory from Lexus and even have the center caps and everything.
So I’ve replaced the blower motor, the blower resistor, I’ve cleaned the servo motors, and made sure the function, I’ve switched relays around and checked the heater fuse and absolutely no air blows. I’m at a complete loss. The blower motor doesn’t do anything at all at any speed or temperature. Every so often there’s a “chirping” sounding noise coming from what seems like under the dash but I can never replicate, it just does it on its own. Not sure if that’s related or not. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
i have constant 12v, good batt signal, good ign power, good ground to the ecm pins. i have tried my original ecu 99 gs300 and it seems to have lost communication and i’ve tried a 2000 gs300 ecu and it has no communication either. surely a pfl ecu on a pfl would work?? im lost and close to parting out or selling the car ( tons of goodies really don’t want to )
had the infamous annoying no start security light. checked transponder antenna amplifier and cleaned the module, had capacitors replaced in ECU, had cloned a new key off my master key and still no luck. My car just died ( PRNDL ) on dash wouldn’t illuminate, can’t connect scanner to OBD and on HVAC control panel it wouldn’t show temp outside, and the coolant gauge went straight to cold.
asides all the yappin i was wondering if i can use a 2000 gs300 ecu on my 1999 , my 1999 PN is 89661-3A551, PN on 2000 gs ecu is 89666-30030
i have the skills and equipment to de solder and resolder my IC900 chip from my ecu to the “new“ ecu.

When I pull the interior handle I can hear the noise and there’s some tension but doesn’t pop up. Tried spraying something to the grill but as you know most of the latch is on the other side so can’t reach much. Also tried pushing down and up on the hood while I had a screw driver pinned in the interior holding the handle open.
In the past I had the opposite problem where it wouldn’t fully shut locked. It would close but not the seconded locked stage.
Idk what to do. I just want to open to put a jumper on so I can press the button and get my golf bag out my trunk. I couldn’t get trunk open before this (no master key) but figured out away to unlock by taking an interior panel off and manipulating the lock mechanism …

Hey guys I recently picked up very mint 03 GS300 seats and tried to install them into my 99 GS 400 but I'm kinda stuck right now. Besides the receiving belt buckles and mounting bracket pins that will need to be trimmed from the GS300, I noticed that there was a third pigtail connector that does not seem to be present in my old GS400 seats. The power seats do not move so I wonder if its due to the missing wiring pigtail or if the fuse is bad since the 400 seat motors were dead. Does anyone know if this can be rewired/bypassed or is the 03 gs 300 seats just not compatible in the 99 400?
I've been searching all over and can not find this Lexus Emblem. When I first bought the car used. It was there and have photos of the engine bay when it got detailed. I gave my car to the shop for maintenance a couple of times but recently I needed to change my battery. I then realized the Lexus logo that resides on the engine cover was gone.
All I see is the imprint and the 3 pin holes where it sat. Not sure if someone took it while working on it or it came off. I have never taken off the engine cover and no service I've asked for requires that either. Right now I'm trying to sell it and I don't want anything missing on the vehicle. Where can I buy the logo? The dealer wants to sell me the whole cover instead of me getting the emblem itself.
The dimensions of the is 3" wide and 2 3/16-1/4" tall . I saw that the steering wheel logo is almost that same size but it has 14 pins on the back. I'm not to sure what to choose.

For the last 2 years I’ve been finding people LS400 parts trying to help them out. A lot of people don’t have access to these cars in junkyards like I do. These are the cars I’m visiting today and wondered if anyone needs anything. I can ship anywhere in the U.S. not trying to make a ton of money, just cover my cost of the part + shipping. No deposit or anything like that. If I find the part in good condition I’ll let you know and include plenty of pictures and the entire shipping process with tracking number. Even if you don’t see anything on these cars you need, let me know what you do need. Please be specific as far as color and whether it’s a GS300/400/430 part. I’ll keep an eye out in the future.
So I just got my car back only had it for like 3 months now fresh rebuild on the engine and less than 1200 miles on it…. So when I did a second gear pull on the backstreet behind my apartment I barely hit redline (transmission is the a650e) and the engine just cut off on me… crank no start… there was no overheating or any other signs that could cause it to die… I put an obd2 on it twice, the first one said it was the throttle position sensor… replaced it with Lexus replacement but didn’t work… did another obd2 scan… said scanner can’t connect to on board diagnostic, can’t read mileage or vin number… no crank sensor fault no cam sensor fault… replaced them anyway… still crank no start… intermittent spark… should I get a new ecu or take it back to the shop who rebuilt the engine? I’m mechanically inclined but this is beyond me
Where do I set the timing when removing cam gears ? And can I just loosen the cam gears while the timing belt is still tensioned up before removing belt tensioner?
