How likely am I to get a better room?

I just got my freshmen housing assignment. A 2 person shared bedroom in Kennedy Hall. I plan on using the Room Change option when it is available. How likely am I to get a single room in another hall?

Is anyone else having issues with financial aid?

I am eligible for financial aid. I set an application back in March, got approved, but still haven’t gotten anything. I had the same issue last semester, but I still had to pay full tuition and never got my money back for it.

I really do not want to pay full tuition again for the summer semester if I have financial aid. I already emailed the office a few days ago and I still haven’t received my financial aid. I have to pay my tuition by today but if I dont get it, ill have to drop my classes for the summer semester.

Is anyone else having this issue with the school not giving you financial aid?

Hi, I’m worried

Unfortunately I didn’t do great on my SAT (890) but my GPA is pretty solid at 3.2. Will I still be able to be approved or should I just retake the SAT?

Old mail man for campus

Does anyone remember the older gentleman that used to deliver mail at George's Southern? (Or maybe still does).

From my knowledge he had that job for a really long time. He used to be obsessed with counting his steps on the Fitbit, wrist watches in general and making friends.

First Semester Advisement?

So I’m re-enrolling in school and chose to transfer to GSU. I’m going to be fully online. I’ve done all my admissions stuff (financial aid, transcripts, SOAR, etc). But they’re saying your advisor creates your first semester schedule. Has anyone else done their online program? And if so, how long did it take your advisor to reach out with your completed schedule for the first semester? It’s been several weeks, and I haven’t heard back from anyone I’ve reached out to.

Off campus Apartments

Hello, I am hoping to go to GSU in the next year or so, and wanted to know the best options for off campus housing.
I made a list of potential places based on some research I’ve done on here and google reviews and wanted to know yalls take on each apartment.
Also let me know if any of these should be under a different category.

Thanks in advance

I’m a senior in high school about to attend the armstrong campus this fall. I chose it because it’s closer to savannah but i’ve seen mixed reviews about parties and the people, is it easy to make friends, is there stuff to do around campus with friends? I’ve heard many people say it’s a party school but a lot also say it’s a quiet school with not much student activity

Any information would really help🙏
