Hi everyone! I hope it’s okay to post this here! We’re a small sister run business here in Japan and have a little discord community where we post gachas that release weekly here in Japan that can be purchased. These are some that we’ll be aiming to get this week!
We also livestream at gacha stores every week on TikTok where our regulars will pull live from the machines they offer!!
Usually we pull around 300-500 gachas weekly for everyone. Our record being 1000+
I’m not too sure to what extent I’m allowed to share here but if you’d be interested in checking us out, please DM me and I can send over the discord link!!
just remember to take ‘em off before you throw your away lol
These are my gachapon beetles, they are very fun to collect and they are also based on real-life counterparts
i found these at a thrift store they are made in korea by the brand LITTLE TOYS. theyre in really good condition how much are they worth
We have a couple Bandai gachapon stores that have opened in my area (USA) They are super cool except one spin is anywhere from 3 to 6 tokens but each token is $3. This feels quite expensive. Is that how much it normally is for everybody else? Especially the six token figures definitely do not feel like they’re worth $18.
So I was at Costa Mesa Mitsuwa last week trying out Gachapon. I saw this staff and looked like she was picking out the rare one? Are they allowed to do that? And if yes whats the point?
Hey y'all!
Finally have adult money to buy the gacha of my dreams. One of them is this Yell brand Calculator Watch that I happened to get in the colorway I wanted! However, when I opened it the screen was scrambled like this and the watch won't respond to any inputs at all. I used Google lens on the instructions but couldn't find anything regarding how to help me. No instructions for a reset or anything like that. I've contacted the company just to see if they have any advice. I really would like to get this one working. I'm hoping I'm just missing something.
Let me know if any of y'all got advice!
I've been to Japan 3 times in the past couple of years (was also there during a 3 hour layover over a decade ago). Gachapons were always the highlight of each of these trips. Instead of stuffing all my gachapon prizes in an obscure cardboard box, I will re-capsule them all and display them in this gachapon machine I just bought.
I got a capsule plarail gachapon of Thomas the Tank Engine during my trip to Korea last week.
I live in Europe so don't have much access to gachapon or Japanese toys at a reasonable price...
I was wondering, if I want to get some use out of that capsule plarail piece, do they sell capsule plarail sets or only the regular plarail ones? Or is the only way to make it playable to buy a bunch of capsule plarail gachapon, which even if in Japan I doubt would make a lot of financial sense as opposed to just getting a regular play set.
If a gacha from Aliexpress has all the same packaging and markings as the real one (capsule, plastic bag, made of, code, manufactures, all compared to pictures on mercari), what are the chances that it is not real?
At worst, wouldn't it be at least from the same factory or are there factories who will go as far as doing every detail identical?
Keep in mind that, although I can compare the look, I can't compare the quality of the plastic to the real ones.
Everybody was very interested in the character gacha pins last time so I thought I’d share them in better detail this time.
I started collecting these on my second and third trips in Tokyo, Hakone, Kobe, Osaka, Yokohama, Kyoto, etc. They are often found at Kiddyland and random tourist shops near major destinations like Himeji Castle.
I wonder if anyone knows of a map where all of the different ones are located? I can’t wait to go back and find more!
The charm ones are getting really hard to find in Japan, so I had to get a Twitter account to get news on product releases from the gacha shops around my area. I only started rolling a couple months ago to help out my friend who's living abroad and ended up getting too addicted....
So addicted to the point that I started trading with people on Twitter to get the characters I want with my extras. Mercari is quite dangerous too haha
Collected most of these my last trip to Japan with a few from previous trips.
Also saw someone on YouTube use these storage boxes for storage and thought it was brilliant. Only problem it doesn’t fit larger (not shown) gachas.
all my csm charms so far! I’m at a point where I can’t pull from the machines bc the rust of dupes is too high but omg I want makima and reze !! 😭
