After setting the phone's brightness to maximum or minimum, when I try to change the brightness a short time later, it displays the warning "Set to maximum for best viewing in bright light" and won't let me adjust the brightness. This usually happens when the brightness is at the minimum or maximum. I think this is because One UI 8.5 Core isn’t properly optimized. What do you think?

After updating to one ui 8.5 the battery started draining like crazy. Is that because the phone is still optimizing or 8.5 consumes more battery because of the fancy visuals? Have you experienced this? Note that this high battery usage is not when gaming or high cpu usage related tasks. Just for normal tasks like browsing social media

Long story short my phone stopped working so my dad sent a phone but he forgot the pattern password to it and he's also afraid of using find my device factory reset from his own phone Thinking that it will also delete the account from his phone Aswell. i've tried using the data cable trick on pc but it doesn't work because of this "Analog usb device not supported" anytime i try using type c to type c cables. i've tried all combinations but every time the screen shows a little code in the bottom left corner and just boots like normally. Does anyone have any methods?

I got this phone refurbished just over a year ago after my OnePlus 7 fried itself after a few years.

Anyway, it's running One UI 6.1 / Android 14 and I've just avoided updating everyday because I saw how much people have been hating the Samsung updates since.

Should I keep it down graded or just finally bite and upgrade all the way up? Will there be any performance increase in games or no?

In your opinion, did One UI 8.5 improve or worsen the device?
