I tested Samsung Log on the Galaxy S25 Ultra while filming New Zealand's ANZAC Day, and I was genuinely surprised by how cinematic the footage turned out.

I shot everything using the Blackmagic Camera app at 24 fps for more natural motion blur and used Open Gate to capture the full sensor for the best image quality.

I also think the early morning sunrise lighting really helped create a more cinematic look. The footage was graded from Samsung Log, and I'm really happy with the results.

This was shot on the Galaxy S25 Ultra using Samsung Log. My setup was a SmallRig Global Phone Cage, an ND filter, and a Black Mist filter. That combo gives the footage a much more cinematic look.

You'll still need to do some color grading, but it's definitely worth the effort. I was really happy with the final result.

Opening the keyboard shifts the screen down a bit, this happens in almost all apps. Re-entering (not restarting) the app usually returns it to fullscreen

This has been the case for at least a year (S25)

I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos and the video quality on the S25 Ultra sometimes looks surprisingly bad. But it often seems like the people filming just don't know how to use the camera properly — wrong settings, bad lighting etc. (see linked video, check around 2:30

I'm currently on an iPhone 14 Plus and thinking about switching. Is the quality actually solid when used correctly? Any tips or settings to get the best out of it?
Also — is the S25 Ultra worth it overall, or would you recommend something else in a similar price range? I'm not tied to any brand at all. My iPhone is literally the only Apple device I own, everything else is non-Apple, so switching to Android is no big deal for me.
Open to any suggestions!

Alguien sabe por qué, al editar una foto y guardarla, se ve completamente diferente a como se veía mientras la editaba? Incluso al enviarla por WhatsApp, por ejemplo, los colores se ven totalmente distintos. Durante la edición, se ve más oscura o con mayor contraste, pero al enviarla, se ve más plana, con menos color y menos intensidad. ¿A qué se debe esto y hay alguna forma de evitarlo? Las fotos fueron tomadas con un Samsung S25 Ultra con el objetivo gran angular y zoom bajo, en modo cámara normal.

No he modificado nada relacionado con la pantalla. Son capturas de pantalla por motivos de calidad, por si acaso. Y espero no me borren aquí el post, porque he publicado en otro foro y dicen que esto no es relacionado al Samsung S25 Ultra 🫠
