I understand that homegrown organizations such as Goodfellas and Ghostface Gangsters, but what other homegrown organizations (if any) have a presence? If people don’t join an organization, do they usually just run with the city their from and/or ride solo?

Just by the title, I know you might be confused but hear me out. Considering that Detroit and West Virginia have ties with one another, it’s quite interesting how people from Detroit have not economically built up certain areas (Huntington, Charleston, Morgantown, and etc.). It’s always fascinated me that Detroit people have had influence/ties in some way, shape, or form in a state like Tennessee, but West Virginia not so much (correct me if I’m wrong). Do you think it would make a difference for Detroiters to move into the major cities of WV to economically build it up? What Influence does the D have in WV? Would you recommend the state to anyone? (Please, Correct me for any misinformation).

My dad is Aryan brotherhood I've met his captain and he's close friends with a shotcaller and he's friends with a former Aryan nation captain and me and my dad watch a lot of documentaries and he's taught me some stuff about his chapter but my question is that my older cousin who is white and a gangster disciple and what I've seen and heard is gangs is a lot of white vs black so would my dad and cousin be able to get along or with their gang stuff come first

And myself I'm not a gang member and I have no interest or joining and I'm clarifying my dad is Aryan brotherhood not Aryan brotherhood of Texas or universal Aryan brotherhood

And correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think those three Aryan groups are connected

Hey guys! I just want to start out by saying I’m not gang affiliated or know much about gangs at all, just trying to get some perspective/general knowledge.

Allegedly my cousin (now age 17) joined a gang around 1 year ago (or so he claims). We live in a tiny town with a population of maybe 10,000 people. He has since been diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, multiple personality disorder, etc. If there’s a diagnosis—he has it. Hence me saying he allegedly joined. 1/2 of his comments/stories are inaccurate at this time but before he went off the deep end he was talking about wanting to join a gang so we assume it’s true. He is now in and out (mainly in) mental health facilities trying to get treatment.

My question is: is this something that would get him kicked out? Like would a gang revoke the membership if one of their members has hopped aboard the crazy train? Almost like a “he’s embarrassing the family” type of situation?

As an example: most recently he was picked up by police at the park . His friend and (alleged) fellow gang member said he had been screaming at kids saying he was seeing things that weren’t there.

Genuinely just curious for my own personal knowledge. I was just wondering what the normal procedure is if a member experiences something like this.
