The gang was formed in the South Island of NZ, in Paparua prison in Christchurch, in the early 90s. Their symbol was a Celtic Cross with a Swastika in the centre. Though there was only 15 or so confirmed members, they were responsible for 4 documented murders, 3 of which were either racially motivated, or homophobic.

In 1991, Maori man Hemi Hutley was beaten unconscious by 2 members, before being dragged into a river and left to drown to death.

Also in 1997, a member was beaten, stabbed and had a finger cut off by 2 fellow members, for stealing and using marijuana oil the gang had given him to smuggle into prison. The stabbings left his lung collapsed, his scalp was cut and peeled back, and the amputated finger was stored in a bread bag. 1 of the aggressors, Ivan Gugich, is still a neo-Nazi skinhead, even though he has since removed numerous Nazi tattoos, including a large Celtic Cross that was on the top of his head.

In 1999, homosexual man James “Janis” Bamborough was strangled to death by 2 members, before his body was dumped in a shallow water hole. It’s alleged Bamborough had attended a party where he hugged one of his future killers, and made lewd comments about his sister’s breasts. Later that night, a witness heard the other killer say: “Fuck him, he’s a faggot. We’re gonna waste him tonight. We don’t like faggots.” “According to one witness, Wilding described how powerful he felt as he squeezed the life from Bamborough and his body turned lame, while a former girlfriend claimed that McKenzie joked that he had "killed a faggot". Bamborough's body remained undiscovered for five years until McKenzie turned on the Fourth Reich and snitched on Wilding for the crime in 2004, leading police to the body. 2 of the killers also blackmailed and extorted the 3rd killers mother.

In 2003, a South Korean student and hitchhiker was killed by 3 members, before his body was buried. One of the killers also killed James Bamborough. After picking up the hitchhiker, one member pretended his car was broken, prompting everyone to get out and push it. As Mr Kim did so, he was strangled while another member held his arms, and “stared into his eyes until he stopped struggling.” The strangler then stomped on his head, before all 3 buried him in a secret grave. It’s reported the strangler later bragged that he “cut Kim’s head off with a spade.”

Then, in 2010, a former member stabbed Vanessa Pickering to death. They worked together at a meat works, and after work one night, the pair drove to a quiet location, before she was repeatedly and brutally stabbed. The man responsible was no longer in the Fourth Reich, but at the time still had Swastika tattoos on his face and neck, which were removed before trial in 2011. He also changed his name from Malcom to Maniapoto.

While the gang was virulently racist, (one of Bamborough’s killers had “Die Nigger Die” tattooed on his forehead), they lacked a coherent ideology like many British and American skinhead gangs. They even had a member of Maori and White heritage, Neihana Foster. Neihana was one of the two skinheads who killed Hemi Hutley for simply being Maori. (He’s allegedly in the 3rd photo)

Also one of the gangs co-founders, Trevor Clarke is Samoan and White. He is a former member now, and has had his distinctive facial tattoos (including a Swastika on his forehead, SS bolts on his cheek, a Totenkopf on his cheek, and other skulls on his face and neck) removed. This “foul-mask” was applied during his 20+ years in prison. (He appears in the first 3 pictures)

It's alleged that G Seven was personally brought home by one of the original 7 founders, or "pillars," of the Ghostface Gangsters, David Gene Powell, better known as Davo.

Over the years, G-Seven climbed the ranks within the Ghostface Gangsters to achieve a high leadership status within the organization. He refers to himself as the "CEO of 767," aka GFG.

He allegedly only directly answers to the original founders and passes on their orders, plus orders of his own, throughout the GFG organization.
