Snuggling with my 12-pound buddy Maico on the couch. His happy chuffs make my heart melt. 🤍

Maico wasn't a big fan of all the people at the sandy beach today, so we tried the boat launch. He went right on in, walking down the ramp. A second after this he went under and seemed to sputter a bit, trying to find footing, so I chucked the phone and lifted him up. He still seemed unfazed, though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Next time I think we'll just stick to the boat ramp, if it's empty! Great spot to sun.

He was so brave! First time experiencing a body of water like this. He waded out into the water and stood up to the gang of angry grackles that gathered around and screeched at him (he was unfazed).
