As an intermediate crocheter this guy tested my skills but he was such an accomplishment to finish! This was also the first time I entered one of my pieces into the state fair and he ended up winning a ribbon! Such a fun project!
Pattern is Little Cryptid by Heather Kumpf (@violets.and.heather)
Finally finished it and I'm so happy with it! I made the owlbear from the new DnD crochet book a few days ago and after that I decided to make my own so I just made up the pattern as I went.
Made a Leshen from The Witcher!
Movie Rocky meets book Rocky! And I decided that he should have the most beautiful soul ✨✨✨
These are so fun to make
I made a crochet Caterpie for a friend! I found a pattern on Etsy but honestly I wouldn't recommend it because it needs edited A BUNCH and was super confusing to follow--was NOT beginner friendly :(

This was a fun project. The cork turned out really well.
Hey, y’all! I’m just introducing myself. I specialize in hat and scarf designs, but I’m known to make a blanket or two as well. I learned crocheting from my grandmother who couldn’t read a pattern. I’m super proud to continue her art form.
Hey everyone, I need some perspective. My stepmom makes these beautiful, intricate crochet bouquets (attached photos). For Mother's Day, my mom loved the one I got her so much that she asked to buy one for her mother-in-law.
My stepmom normally charges $70 for this specific size because of the hours of labor, yarn, wire, and wrapping details. When I told my mom the price, she completely lost it (see text screenshots). She claims she saw them at a crowded event for $50 and that I'm 'out of it' for thinking $70 is fair. I even offered to cover $20 out of my own pocket to bring it down to $50 for her, and she’s still being rude.
As non-biased people, is $70 actually too much for a full bouquet like this? I feel so defensive over my stepmom's hard work.
Title: Francois’ Overalls
I crocheted a pair of overalls for Francois and I’m surprised that the straps stay on because he doesn’t have shoulders. I freehanded both him and the overalls so sorry if you want the pattern. I attached the straps with Velcro and bought the wooden buttons for another project and they turned out to be the perfect size.
