Isn’t he famous?

I think I’ve met 2 lvl 1000 mercy’s before but never this guy. Being almost lvl 2k is really a grind but he’s really trash ngl.

I looked up what rank he was and he was only gm in support and masters in dps and that was in season 5. It’s funny to see ts but also a shame to waste so much of your time on a game that is genuinely does nothing for your life.

i think the 200hp to 250hp or whatever update ruined the game for me

i used to love overwatch so much. i’d come get so much adrenaline and joy out of playing genji and being like a glass cannon yk.

nowadays it just feels like i’m putting in way too much value to do the bare minimum. maybe he’s just in a bad state but it’s just not the same game i used to love so much 😭

i paid $60 for ow1 i miss that shit so much omg. i don’t even know what my point is

BEST genji training map codes you NEED

OREBZ - (blade training in a circle with moving bots) best for training insta dashes/fast blades, increase dmg by ~20% to dash n slash

TXCXX - (bot 1v1s) best for practicing aim in real 1v1 like scenarios, put genji as ur only hero in workshop settings

DMGRE - (the hanamura one) best for practicing oneshot combos and blades, put 6% extra dmg to dash n slash

VAXTA - (u know this 1) best for learning how to aim againts heroes that are using their movement abilites (like bap jump or freja dash)

i personally warm up with orebz

How do you play against hard counters without being a blade bot?

so had a 6v6 game few days ago that still stays rent free in my brain..

opponent team had moira, mei, sym and zarya from the get go..

i tried my best and played more patiently than usual but i still felt i could not get much value out of genji as i normally do

apart from counting cooldowns of opponent team, what other best strategies do my genji goats use that i could benefit from? happy to learn some new knowledge..

Help - I keep losing track of enemies at close range

I struggle a lot with losing track of my target after I dash onto them. I often end up just as disoriented as they are. Are there any warm-ups or aim training scenarios you'd suggest to improve this part of my Genji gameplay?

how much of a damage buff would you want if genji only had 150 health?

self explanatory, love our glass canon but what would he be like with tracers health? would you want a reduction in cooldown time too?

Best way to improve in gold?

Hey people, what would you guys say is the most important thing to do or focus on when trying to improve on genji? Specifically in gold rank. Is it developing fight IQ? Or mechanical practice? Or just playing more games and getting experience?

Thanks in advance for any replies/advice!

Genji Needs Dmg Buffs

for those saying 29 dmg is too much or its "op" you have to realize genji currently does the lowest amount of dmg he's ever done, before the season 9 hp and hitbox changes genji did 27 (IN THE PAST HE USED TO DO 29 ) dmg per shuriken to 200 hp targets his shuriken's were larger and his playstyle was actually a hyper aggressive dive/flanker, but since season 9 increased squishes hp from 200 to 250 which is a 25% increase and they never compensated genji's dmg but instead made his shuriken's smaller (which leads to more misses) with 27 dmg, due to these changes it ultimately changed genji's playstyle to a more boring poke / contest angles / only follow up on tank playstyle were he cant go for solo kills like he used to be able to do and 27 to 29 is just a 7.4% increase over what he has now. Even if u were to do that, it still doesn't equate to having 27 dmg shuriken's pre s9. you'd have to buff it to 33.75 dmg just for it to be equivalent to pre s9 27 dmg
